Its funny because as a Bermudian myself I havent really seen anything mysterious at sea other than ball lightning. There are an abnormal amount of shipwrecks all around the island that you can explore and many of them can even be seen by using google maps.

Well for one thing magnetic pulses can cause flashes of light. They are also can jam radio signals, frie electrics and cause an array of other problems. Now throw that in with a few storms and whirlpools and a lack of knowledge, now you got your self a story of the gods and monsters beyond ones wildest dreams.

I do appreciate this subjective look at the "Bermuda Triangle." Many just gloss the area over as being nothing more than an ocean graveyard of ships and airplanes and devoid of any real mystery. Of course, the fact that the area even has a (or various) "nickname(s)" is testament that there is more going on in the area, paranormal or not, than just air and sea craft sinking to the bottom. It is curious that one explanation for the bizarre activities of the triangle is the unpredictable weather as well as the abundance of charted and uncharted islands in the area. The South Pacific (areas around the Philippians, Marianas and other island groups) has similar, if not worse, types of unpredictable weather, as well as, obviously, an abundant number of charted/uncharted islands capable of causing an equivalent area amount of hazards as the Bermuda Triangle, yet none of those areas of the South Pacific garner as much world recognition for paranormal incidents as the area of the Bermuda Triangle, at least not enough to result in acquiring a foreboding, world-recognized nickname.

I think I heard there was a triangle in Lake Superior and in Alaska. And I heard in Scotland there's the Falkirk triangle where there's more UFO sightings than anywhere else. Maybe you could cover one of those sometime.

There are other places in the world comparable to the Bermuda Triangle: - The Zone of Silence - The Appalachian Mountains - The New Jersey Pine lands (which according to Native Americans is said to have been a haunting place even before the myths of the Jersey Devil) - The Skinwalker Ranch - The Alaskan Triangle - The Black Hills Forest (which also according to Native Americans is said to have been a haunting place even before the myths of the Blair witch)

The only thing I have to say is it’s the least believable of all the myths. (Well maybe not). There is zero evidence to support anything that happens in that region. Some things are a bit strange I admit. But until I see solid evidence, I won’t believe.

I think the weirdest thing is why was there a focus on that particular area's shipwrecks and plane crashes. The ocean is huge, and there's surely other areas that have the same amount or more of lost crafts and people, why does that particular place have this legend status attached to it? It's weird as hell

I once saw on a documentary that it's a high concentration of electromagnetics, I don't know how true it is, but that's what they suggested. I know that electro magnetics can do weird thing, like the Philadelphia Experiment.

1 such scientific reason for what happens in the triangle I heard some time ago was that strange gas emissions from the ocean floor causes the surface of the water to thin out and cause ships to loose buoyance and planes to stall out.

The problem with this theory is because we don't have exactly this kind of thing being seen in real life unlike Rogue Waves. It's just a theory so we shouldn't believe on this so easily about gas emissions being part of the Bermuda Triangle. What should you look are about the odd and weird electromagnetic anomaly that seem to happened in the triangle a lot especially that encounter of a pilot flying through Bermuda that made it in Florida from Bahamas under 2 minutes. Wtf just happened...
