It has guts listed at 6'8", 255ish pounds, man's playing for the wrong Hawks. I think guts gets taller during the timeskip and also the berserker armor has stretched him out so MAYBE he's taller than Pippen now, but still Pippen being only 190cm or about 6'3 is definitely wrong

I actually have this guidebook. I bought it awhile back to add to the collection. 😎 Some Asian countries count age from day of conception rather than actual birthday, so that might be why Guts is 24. 🤔 It would have be cooler to have maps though, I agree. 💗

im not exactly sure, but i think the skullknight forums sent a letter asking a few questions to kentaro miura's office in 2007 or 2008. One of them was how long has passed since the eclipse, and it was answered by one of miura's assistants as 3-4 years since the eclipse.

I think regarding Pippin's height, the guidebook is taking Gut's current height, not the one he had during the GA arc. That's why Pippin is always taller than Gut's, because at the time he actually was, but after the eclipse and in the following years Guts grew to be taller (even though that's quite a substantial growth, if that's the case)

At 9:12, That's one thing that's ONE THING I feel needs to be talked about and discussed, because current Guts looks NOWHERE NEAR 24 or any younger than that, if anything to me he looks 28 or in his early 30s, but that's probably due to the effects of the Berserker Armor, and I do know he looked somewhat younger before he got the armor too. It's another case of weird anime/manga ages where characters don't exactly look their age, another good case would be Itachi from Naruto who supposedly killed his clan when he was "13" when he looked 16 or 17 during that time..

God damn Ryan is jacked I really like the guide book. I know there is a lot of contention around if he actually wrote it. I tend to trust official sources and according to all them he wrote it so. Besides it for me as a veteran reader I've been reading it for nearly a year. Going on my second before I go back into a particular Arc. I always read the guide book so I can refresh my memory on the characters and everything like that

No, so far those have just been the manga. There was some speculation among fans early on that they might pad the final Miura-drawn omnibus with it, since it would end up only being two volumes worth of content instead of three, but that seems unlikely now that the manga has continued.

yeah.. the heights are just plain wrong. they fucked up Guts' height in particular. Guts is supposed to be like 6, maybe 6 foot 1. He's tall, but he's not like PIPPIN TALL. He ain't, like, Larry Bird tall.. Pippin should be the above average one.. like 6'9 or something. And just from the art work, Guts is AT LEAST 8-9 inches shorter than him.. realistically

Serpico should be like 5'7 or 5'8 or something. Which would put Casca and Farnese just below him at like 5'6 or something. Since Griffith is only slightly shorter than Guts he's probably about 5'11 or so. Overdoing the height with Guts sets off a chain reaction that fucks with all the other character's heights. I hate it when Guidebooks like this get it so wrong.

I think the real question this book doesn’t answer is WHAT ACTUALLY IS PIPPINS HEIGHT and WEIGHT? There is no way he is 6,3 and guts is 6,7 NO WAY, and even if he is shorter, which is impossible, there is NO WAY he is lighter than him to. He is 100% heavier than Guts. And again The artwork consistently shows Pippin dwarfing Guts, and I don’t care if Guts was only 19 during the Eclipse (also that amount of tremendous growth to then surpass Pippins perceived height and weight past 19 is dubious) there is no way Pippin is shorter than current guts. I MEAN LOOK AT HIM
