Just watched the part of the documentary where they were recording this song and it sure felt like a nightmare for the guitarist just to even nail down the first riff. *How in the world can they possibly pull this one off on a live stage?*

Sam Bean was the guy playing guitar in that clip of the documentary. He was struggling because Luke was insisting he play the entire thing using downstrokes which was super difficult, it wouldn't have been much of an issue using alternate picking.

"doped up on drugs, believing themselves invulnerable, they marched into a massacre" It always made me think of their namesake, Norse berserker warriors, said to consume magic mushrooms and go into a battle frenzy, running into battle as a unit of drug fuelled, naked screaming, balls tripping, pelt wearing berserkers.
