Another example of the coincidence of opposites is good storytelling. In order for the happy ending or the story to have any meaning, deep suffering must befall the characters. Just like good music, it is the duality of tension and release that has a creative energy that is so much more

Counterpoint, is a illustration of this: When I listened again to intermezzo to Cavalleria Rusticana, the impact toward the end, was drawn out with the double bass, descending steadily to the last base note like gulf of death hallow, and a parallel ascend consummated in a puff of flute like the lightest butterfly simultaneously emerging from within. Reminded me of the opening scene of the film "The hours". Horowitz's polonaise in a flat (recorded in Vienna) I also found best delivered the same impact, the earth-shattering climax, coined Rubinstein somewhere. Only then, perception shifts.. The excruciating elation- They are inevitably inseparable. Once again, my deepest appreciation of Iain's fascinating presence. xx -Alice Kim

A very real analysis of the situation at hand in our world. If a concept or perspective can alter the course of our humanity, this is one that must be included if wii, all the "I"s working together as much as possible could actually manifest this alternative world that would develop simply from the change in actions based on the perspective. Perspicuity is the answer but universal acceptance of any idea is virtually impossible for the very reason you start with, there is a dark side that can not be ignored, but it can be controlled. The middle path is the only one that will get us through, but can it be applied universally. No. If prognostication is possible, does seeing the future validate that there is fate, a predetermined future event cycle that no one can change. If that is true, no action can alter the future but instead wii are living out what has been planned by a higher intelligence that wii understand exists, thus it could indeed be us, the avatar in this plane, which proves Spirit, the other life wii live, does exist and actually controls and predetermined factors make the future simply a manifestation of a sequence that has already been programmed to happen once the Cosmic Computer is turned on. Which Master Computers determine your reality, the Mandella effect simply being the frequency and version of the reality wii play in is broadcast. The Wifi channel you are tuned into can effect your perspective because the foundation, the memories and method of deduction, of thinking is impacted by the invisible forces, energy waves that our antenna pick up on internally which alter what wii perceive. Our memory is integrated into the observations fo the present so that if one alters memory banks that are referenced to, you change the perspective from which one sees, thus the way they interpret what they see, and thus the conclusions they reach using logic or thinking based on past experience or memory to determine what wii determine is Truth. Thus reality can not be the same for all people nor can everyone share one view due to the problems that arise from broken bio-computers, bodies that no longer function as intended and thus nothing will align to the thinking of those whose thinking processes are optimized.

I can't accept the idea of an "ocean of consciousness" (40:30). This tendency to view consciousness extending out into space stems from using 'light' as a metaphor for consciousness, since light illuminates the whole world. If you embrace motion as the appropriate metaphor, instead of light, the location of consciousness becomes just part of the physical world.

What a terrific insight Iain McGillchrist has with regards to human behaviour and our perception of reality. For my understanding it has helped me articulate many questions regarding a conciderable sum of a lot of the big dilemmas and conflicts we find ourselves in. My particular facination is regarding how abstract our thinking is over some of the most intuitive thinking we naturally do. In some ways the idea of money is or even particle physics enters the rhelm of religion when you try and pan out for the bigger perspective. I think the right hemisphere might find the following passage in "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe" instantly amusing. That is until the left hemisphere tries to articulate why it's amusing... That passage goes something like... "In the beginning the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry, and was generally considered a bad idea."

28:13 Energy is time. In the metaphysical/ time-space sector, time is 3 dimensional, being the reciprocal of space. So, energy at root are scalar rotations displaced at discreet units from the speed of light. Energy is faster than light; matter slower. See Dewey Larson, the guy who discovered the unified theory mainstream science claims to be searching for. Reciprocal Systems Theory of Space and Time.

I object to the suggestion that our faulty world view is somehow implicated in the 'climate crisis' (3:06). There is no mention of this connection in 'The Master and his Emissary'. The fact that it was added to the documentary is not surprising, since film makers are inclined to that side of politics. I would argue that climate alarmism is very much a left-brained phenomenon. My understanding of 'The Master and his Emissary' is that the properly grounded mind does not identify with abstract values, material or political. The impulse to identify with a political ideology is just as misguided as the desire to identify with material possessions.

@hexagram531
@hexagram531 Жыл бұрын
@surfism The problem with a brief comment on the internet is of course that it doesn’t leave you enough room for nuance and complications. Any mention of the climate situation is like this; on the one hand it is currently greeted with apocalyptic hysteria and the futile beliefs of certain activists (that, say, recycling your cans and/or gluing your hand to something) does a molecule of good for the Earth or anything on it, or that Nature is this wonderful goddess that is being ruined by Evil Humans. On the other hand, it is perfectly true that the climate is being affected by cumulative human activities since the Industrial Revolution. It is also true of course that now billions of people understand this, in their limited ways, and that many perfectly sensible scientists, politicians and business people are trying to do something about ensuring we can adapt to changes and mitigate damaging ones as far as is reasonable (without wiping out all those Evil Humans). It seems to me that it can also only be reasonable to observe that it is left-hemisphere dominance which has to be responsible for any kind of underlying attitudes that “stuff is just there for us to use”, or that “it doesn’t matter because the Sun and the Supervolcanoes and the Meteorites are far more important” - that is always limited and insufficient. But that still means that you can indeed associate the climate changes with left-hemisphere dominance (and its associated beliefs that Nature can be just walked all over, or that resources or “growth” will be infinite), without being insane about it. That isn’t the same as thinking “Just Stop Oil” makes any sense without causing millions of deaths and massive disruption in the process. The main problem is perhaps that neither the left nor right hemispheres have produced enough sufficiently wise people. Yet.

@@hexagram531 Good words! Yes, we need more wisdom. Would you agree that wisdom comes from life experience? @@hexagram531 I think it is notable that conservatives are not especially interested in politics. It's progressives who want to change people's behaviour. I believe that conservatives are more grounded than progressives, because they understand that, "there are no solutions, just trade-offs", as Thomas Sowell puts it. The primarily left-brained progressive is drawn to simplistic explanations, like greenhouse gases controlling global temperatures. This story appeals to the left-brain, which Gazzaniga calls the ‘narrative interpreter’. But, even if it were true that greenhouse gases control global climate, impoverishing humanity through decarbonisation is a very arrogant and narrow-minded approach. I actually don't believe that there is a climate crisis. But, let's not go there! What I am suggesting is that the impulse to control the world is very dangerous. Of course it's appealing to think that people just have to do things differently. "Some of you may die," as Lord Farquaad declares, "but it's a sacrifice I am willing to make." I think the problem is the sense of urgency. We mustn't overreact to abstract threats. The healthy mind is oriented toward its immediate surroundings and the tangible concerns within its purview. This is where I thought 'The Master and his Emissary' was leading, before the story got hijacked by environmentalists.

Reality = That which is/That I am. The Word of Truth is ever faithful (loyal, true, isomorphic) to Reality (That which is/That I am). The Psyche functions consciously and unconsciously simultaneously. Therefore, consciousness is what something does - not what something is. We are Life at large, experiencing itself as all of us simultaneously. Therefore, we are all It, to an unknowable/inexhaustible extent, as the facets of a Diamond are 'both' distinct from each other 'and' the Diamond itself. Love is the recognition of our shared Being. Order takers do the actual harm. They say yes when they should say No. They are us, as in a mirror.

@ninstar8165 While I agree that our society seems to favour comfort and convenience (and meaninglessness), on reflection I really don't think that wisdom comes from life experience - or certainly not life experience on its own. I've known people over 80 years old who don't seem to have acquired an ounce of wisdom, but are as entrenched in their stubbornness and 25-years-old-acquired prejudices as ever. I think Bruce Lee and Jesus of Nazareth had plenty of wisdom in certain areas, even though neither lived to the age of 35, and I would say I've known wise people in their 20s. (Unfortunately I wasn't one of them!) Maybe it comes from certain experiences plus a kind of openness to learning important lessons, with certain attitudes. I think the attitudes, and maybe some compassion and objectivity, are more important than the intelligence level, or the chronological age reached.

Students and Hosts what is a big picture? Nor what is Deep? To made shallow even for the innocents as a Child given ABLE TO COMPREHEND. But unto...remember ye all once an innocents little ones. Here ye ALL ARE? Don't want to flash a light upon thy eyes. While sleeping? Offending thee is not my aim? With discreetly and slowly. Able to bare the LIGHT. Without running away! Nor turn your headlights on given before driving at night. So ye may see beyond the eyes can see! At night. Students and Hosts to remind... Remind what?

I seem to be disagreeing with the man who's commented on the slides. for me the slides are a complete distraction and they're not used particularly well. we don't need to see the flower opening over and over and over again. and the slide on immediate reflections has two things written on it and Mcgilchrist has already mentioned at least 10. please have the slides to match or don't bother with them at all...... it's actually much easier to just watch the person speaking. They always irritated me at business meetings, totally unnecessary unless you've got extremely difficult graphs or charts to look at and study.

Time is the source of directionality. All turbulences in the spreading flow of energy (anti-entropic hotspots) will form consciousnesses as they complexify (non-linearly in time). The consciousness that our species is evolving towards - sometimes - and that is tickling the best of us, is a state of pure omnidirectional reflectionality. Knowing the future, by knowing the past, and the present state in all spatial directions, in the act of producing optimally many variations on that self-reproducing reflection of reality, to reach the destination we are bound to reach as God still has to be cultivated in this (heat)death of the universe. Compressing many and large into few and small, in becoming of an empty universe filled with god. Bimodalism is not a choice, not something that can be fought with thought. Every organism of chemical nature is not free to the passing of time.

Reductionism (entropy) is dual to holism (syntropy) -- the "entropic two step". Teacher (master, lordship) is dual to pupil (slave, emissary, bondsman) -- the Hegelian dialectic. Left brain dominance is dual to right brain dominance -- the divided brain. Opposites, opposame = duality! "Always two there are" -- Yoda. Syntropy (convergence) is dual to increasing entropy (divergence) -- the 4th law of thermodynamics!

In the Beginning God created the heavens and the earth... the right brain and the left brain. The 10 commandments are 5 spiritual and 5 earthly. Jesus gave two commandments: love God above all else & love your neighbor as yourself. Spiritual & material. Fractality. We are co-creaters but only as emissaries of our master

The cerebellum contains 80% of the brains neurons and has 3600% faster processing power than the matched height left and right hemispheres of the cerebrum. Of the 1900+ pages McGilchrist has published on the brain about 4 1/2 mention the cerebellum- that’s about 0.23 % of McGilchrist’s work, mentions the seat of the unconscious, the root of autism and motor function, in the nucleus of mood and addictive disorders, as well as addiction, and other maladies. Neuroscience published over the past decade shows us that the cerebellum is crucially involved in the cognitive development of children, their intelligence, propensity for autism, and sociability and overall sense of well-being. Dr. McGilchrist has a monopoly on this conversation in the public side and his obfuscating the incredibly dominant role the cerebellum plays in brain function. Though it is 10% the size of the hemispheres combined it contains 400% more neurons over 50% of the neurons of the entire central nervous system, and computationally due to its neuronal folding density is 3600% times faster than the left and right hemispheres. It’s like comparing a quantum computer to a commodore 64. You should be highly suspicious that you’re not hearing about this from McGilchrist or McManus. Sarah means princess in Hebrew. Bellum in Latin is war. The Prince S war is a cold one warming… Adonai Add an I Je suis …

Why should we be "suspicious"? What exactly are you trying to do with the "Adonai/add an I" nonsense at the end? Do it for Eheieh and AGLA next eh.
