I am sharing why I think the VHM-314 Bluetooth Receiver Board Module is one of the best but also cheap. This board will be great for your bluetooth portable DIY speaker projects or just adding bluetooth to an old sound system.

bro, recent stocks from different sellers have voice prompts now. you should ask the seller for the actual picture of the unit and compare the number of pins. if less pin count on ic then it has the talking prompts. it should be as small and as many as the one on the video.

I had this board for so long and it had low volume issue. After long time I revisited the board and inspected. As you can on 00:03 , C7,R3,C6, C9 is messed up. They soldered caps in position of resister and via versa. I currently doesn't have wondering station and I don't know the correct values to replace.

Hi, good to know and this is what I am looking for Tnx. for this informative video However, you've forgot to mention the most important detail of the whole entire video. What is the chip number as is written on the chip. This is "critical" for a big majority of people since maybe someone (like me) is actually looking to buy just the chip on its own not the rest and perhaps integrate it on a DIY project. Or...it could be that this particular chip is installed on a variety of other boards that have different topology and/or facilities on it. So, again, knowing the actual chip markings is "CRUCIAL". No, plugging into the 3.5mm jack will deactivate the other output.

You need an amplifier. Otherwise, the sound won't be loud.

got 2pcs for only 54php too. (27 each) glad I bought two at that time so I have extra when needed... because all recent stocks of this doesn't have the same good IC as before. new releases noticeably have less pins on IC and there's voice prompts instead of beeps only. 😅

Between 3.7 V and 5 V? LoL! No way. I am pretty sure that what the specifications of the product mean is that it can be powered by either a lithium ion battery (they're usually specified with a 3.7 V nominal voltage) or by an USB power supply (5 V) through its onboard USB micro-B port. The positive and negative terminal holes for the battery can be clearly seen onboard next to the USB micro-B female port. And if the board is properly designed to make use of the full energy from a lithium ion cell, it should still work with voltages below 3 V at the battery terminals.

When you connected it, it says calls and audio. Which means you can use it for calls. But does it have a mic installed in it? Or is there a spot where you can connect mic?

No noise if it has it's own battery. Meaning you can't connect it to the same power source that the power amplifier is connected to.

You can edit the name but that's only for your phone. I don't know of any other way to change the name permanently.

alright, decided to test it by myself, the audio quality is plain useless in these. dramatic rolloff at lower frequencies (possibly higher too), cataclysmic distortion, stereo separation is not what it is supposed be in stereo sound, possibly resonant peaks, audio image is completely wrecked to oblivion, hissing/buzzing noise even from clean psu. these are complete waste of money/time. the only positive thing about these is that there is no chinese lady saying "bluu tooot divaice s nauwh khonnekted".

hey thanks for that, i tested another one and it's much better (however this is not hifi quality and has nothing to do with the word 'best' that you are using - biggest problem with this is distortion/wave clipping that is very present in lower frequencies [dilemma very common in cheap class d amps]) @@TaylorSoloaiJR

It is recommended to use 3.7v - 12v if you're gonna use like 12v that is if you use 3.7v stepup to 12v run to an AMPLIFIER that uses 12v. because sometimes the amplifier boards requires 12v power

@@Sagazoo It all depends on the task at hand. I've been studying these chips since 2016. For example, you can change sounds, add/remove a display (OLED or LED or LCD), keyboard, remote control, memory cards, make it work as a bluetooth transmitter, and much more

I've been using "Poweramp" it's not free but you only pay once. They have trial version you can try for 7 days before you actually buy it. I have used others but I enjoy using this one more.
