Different panels, the colour accuracy is shit compared to the old one. Presets got worse. You just get a worse monitor with 11 more hz on it's tag and a "S" at the end of it's name. It's a shame they're tricking people to buy this after making a good predecessor.

@@angelc8700 Sadly, if you were looking for a gaming + productivity monitor, the non S version they stopped making, and that's about it. Maybe you can grab a secondhand one. But then it depends on what you're looking for, if colour accuracy isn't really important to you then the S is ok eventhough the marketing is extremly shady and the panel is inferior. Benq ex2510s. I’ve owned it for 2 weeks now. B.I.+ is the best feature. Perfect out of the box. Never used a Gigabyte G14F. Best I can tell you, is you’ll be satisfied with the one you like best. Get the monitor you want. Let’s say, you want an AOC 24G2. You’ll be happy with it. As long as your 144hz+ and get the panel type you like. Just make sure you get the one you really want. I’ll add the second comment. The image quality on Benq ex2510s is superb. Having a light sensor is awesome. Monitor adjusts to your preferred brightness every time. Never fails. Adjusts on the game and probably movie too. Imagine viewing the perfect image preference. Using a dim light and then turning on a super bright light source. Look at monitor again. Feels like looking at same beautiful monitor view. Not bright or too bright. Just right every time

Guys I have a doubt, Iv'e read in a comment that the new BenQ MOBIUZ EX2510S is a downgrade from the 2510, because it has not a true 8 bit display, but rather a 6 bit + FRS and the colors are worse due to that, Is it true? Or the panel manufacturers are the same? Is it a downgrade (with worse color performance) or an upgrade (having the same performance as the old model but with the plus of more refresh rate)?
@paulshizzledizzle61802 жыл бұрын
I have the S model and I know what your feeling. Your going through the research phase. It’s not a downgrade. It’s 8 bit also. Ex2510 uses AUO 1.6 panel and the S model uses a AUO 1.8 panel. What ever that means right so it shouldn’t be important. The S model comes with added sharpness adjustment function which Ex2510 doesn’t have. Which is whatever because your not going to adjust it anyways because it comes perfect out of the box. The S model comes with 21 more hz per second. Which your probably not going to notice anyways but I’m happy knowing I have the 2021 model and I am at 165hz. It’s a nice feeling. I ended up getting the one that was cheaper. What I’m sharing with you is I would have been happy with either, or. Basically just view as both monitors are the same. Added detail. Perfect out of the box. As In choose a mode depending on what feature you would like to use. Then set ama 1 or 2. I’d choose the mode with the features you want use. Adjust the feature. This is all I did. Chose Game HDRi mode, set Ama 2, turn on B.I.+, then set the light tuner to my preference for B.I+ to know what I like. That’s it. Perfect out of the box. Like for me I got monitor for First Person Shooter games but I don’t use FPS mode. FPS mode you can adjust black equalizer and motion blur. Bla bla bla. Which my opinion is not needed because it’s already set perfect on Game HDRi. I get an added benefit using Game HDRi because I get to use Brightness intelligence+. Motion blur and black Equalizer or B.I.+? That’s a no brainer. B.I+ all the way! Motion blur? There is none. Black equalizer? It is already set perfect on Game HDRi mode. Don’t need it. **Updated comment. There is a difference between a 2510 and a 2510s. Added brightness intelligence to Game HDRi and one other preset. 2 more differences listed at BenQ website. IMO is whatever. It’s like having 144hz and 165hz refresh rate. Whatever. Same thing. You will never notice but have peace of mind. Added Brightness Intelligence feature on 2 presets. That’s a big one. iMO

@@paulshizzledizzle6180 Thanks for the great response bro, the research phase can be though when there seems to be contradicting info. I got kinda scared as well due to the 24G2U case, when they silently changed the panel, with one with different specs, that kinda gave me a paranoia regarding monitors having different specs than what is advertised by the company. That's why as soon as I heard claims that the color display was 6 bits + FRC and not true 8 bits, I started to feel something was going on. Nevertheless, Glad to hear this new version is a straight update without any performance downsides. Thanks for the help bro, appreciate it. BTW, you may want to see the video Techless did about the model EX2510 and also his channel, he has some great color ICC profiles, and maybe some other stuff regarding pumping up your monitor as far as I remember.

@paulshizzledizzle61802 жыл бұрын
@@Leo-nj5kw oh that is a false claim or you remember. That's a comment about the 24G2U. Techless's video is great! I understand how you feel about ICC profiles and 6 bit + FRC with 24g2. Best I can tell you is all that is not going to matter. ICC profiles, motion blur, UFO tests, black light bleed, IPS glow is all going to go out the door. You going to like the monitor. 6bit + FRC and 8 bit. Are you ever going to know which one you like better? Besides 6 is lower than 8 and the 8 is missing the FRC.

Laptop has 1 HDMI port and 1 Type C port (this Type C port supports DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 4). Will any of the below options work seamlessly? Apologies for making this lengthy. I am really confused. Just trying to have clarity before making all the purchases. Appreciate your assistance. Option 1 - USB C to Dual HDMI Adapter - Type C end connects to laptop's type C port and use HDMI cables to connect one end to monitor's HDMI port and other end to this adapter's HDMI port. Option 2 - USB C to Dual DisplayPort Adapter - Similar to above - instead of HDMI Adapter, this is DisplayPort Adapter and need to use DP cables instead of HDMI cables. Option 3 - Is there any other better way?

should i grab the ex2510s for my ps5 or benq xl2411k? btw im playing on ps5, and for 60hz games i’d like the latency to be around 10ish, what monitor should i buy?
@J.A02736 Жыл бұрын
I'd go with the ex2510s because i enjoy the ips panel more.

I was thinking of getting this one but I'm also thinking of pairing it with a rtx 3060 so does it work or is it possible for me to run into issues with it since this monitor is not g sync compatible?
@Thakkii2 жыл бұрын
Dont worry , works with gsync , actually is better with Gsync than Freesync for some reason , i watched 2 or 3 reviews of this monitor and one of them tested with gsync , check youtuber "Techless" review on it

Does 1080 @ 165Hz is it support by HDMI ports or Display Port ?
@Aamir4777 Жыл бұрын
Yes it does via HDMI, I'm using it as a secondary screen with my laptop having RTX 3060.
