for the people saying that the hardpeek isnt working anymore it is possible but you have to remove the wall on the second floor then you'll be able to place the triangle

The walls facing the bunker should be always hard side. Otherwise, people can just soft side it. Two people with 3 jackies each can soft side and armored wall within like 10 minutes, especially considering you have a workbench in the 2nd floor.

Well well well, so here i am back at the video that started it all for me. this base video was the first base i ever built when i had no hours in rust, i now have 3K hours and now have built some of the biggest and most intricate clan bases and 5x5s with chinawalls etc. just thought id say how appreciative i am for you hoody, if it wasnt for you i wouldnt have got into building and thats only part of rust left that is still fun for me now i have come full circle and going to now go to the first pve server i ever played on and built this spector base at, and im going to do it one last time just for old time sakes

Just used this base last wipe on Console rust and it works really well and is efficient. The one downside is when your roofs get soft sided for the peaks, Over all good base.

Update: I got raided, a group raided everyone that was around then on the first day of the wipe. Its was insane, with rockets and everything. Soo i will build this base now and for the rest of the wipe i will farm to destroy then :p

Gonna be mixing this with coma’s 2x2 bunker coz its the same footprint. He does the bunker a bit better and i can add a shooting floor above ur peeky blinder peeks if i wanted to. Good to have early game and late game peeks

Gonna give it a go on a test server then attempt this on a low pop map. I'm kinda new to Rust and while my base designs have improved a lot, they are not as well thought out as this. I jumped out of my base and seconds later was gunned down. Basically had to hang out in my base for a while until they were gone. Luckily after a previous scare when I accidentally pissed off a giant clan by raiding one of their secondary bases I took half of my loot to a new backup base I built on the other side of the map. I just spawned there away from the gunman and did some monument runs. With this build I could attempt to snipe them, drop my stuff, run out and get my stolen loot plus whatever they're carrying.

I had some issues with the easy peeks regarding the whole wall breaking when doing the lower wall step worked fine on the first step as you showed in video but didnt work for me on the other sides for some reason

Remember a tiny piece of the corner of the twig floor will stick out in the honey comb. If they were to raid the honey comb, they cold easily open the bunker.

For the roof it has to be mentioned that it can only be placed in a certain order… Update.. I built the base once and screwed it up and made it work the second time. In order to place the roofs after you have placed the vending machine and flame turret, you need to leave the triangle hatch frame TWIG then place the two triangle roofs. Once placed you can upgrade, place the half wall low wall peeks etc.

I ran into this issue as well but I learned that the roofs can still be placed if you built the walls already, although you have to position yourself weird and jump, so only had to fix the upgraded hatch frames

Just wanted to say that you need to be careful when you have a hammer in your hand because I accidently picked up one of the peaky blinder flame turrets, and I couldn't place it back in its original position, due to the triangle roofs.

My question is if I were to take heli using the chain link fenced vending machines the chain link would easily break and my loot would be gone. I also feel like it’s not very easily to put back on once broken and the roofs are peaking through.

So i guess it is important to make sure that the base foundations are low to the ground? a lot of times i build on areas that arent super flat so I have to elevate a little to make sure i have enough room to build

A problem with the Peaky Blinder peeks is if the chain link gate (only 75 health) gets destroyed, you can't replace it, leaving your peek permanently exposed.

Lmk if I'm wrong, but shouldn't all of the door frames with garage doors be sheet metal because you can just hit the frames to skip the door when raiding right? So you wouldn't want them to be stone as in the lobby for example.
