Decent audio in tutorials is also great and very underrated.

The nuance of the perception of the ball relative to the court is such a great description of the game of tennis. This video alone has taken my level up 2 or 3 notches from an already advanced level. Thank you very much for this excellent presentation. Salud!

Mark another excellent video, I just found your links on youtube today, and thank you for great tips keep up the great work! After watching 3 of your videos, I noticed a pattern, not a tennis pattern, but an audio pattern to your videos. When you speak as you do at the beginning of the video, the audio has a lot of noise and I have to crank my speakers to hear you. Then when the drill portion of the video comes on, wow the audio is way way too loud, and I have to turn down my speakers like 90%. I would recommend maybe wearing a wireless small lapel microphone for when you speak as in the intro to this video, to avoid the wind noise and keep it clear. When mixing your drill scenes as you narrate, you need to make sure the audio levels when you are recording your narration stay below the red. If I find a good solution including program to use, I will email you. You have great video's, but they suffer a bit with the audio being way to loud then way to soft with noise. Sorry just want to help you or give you feedback on this. Thanks.

A great drill, Mark. Thanks.

Some trainers waste so much video talking about the drill, when the only thing they have to do is play it. We´ll understand. The spin volley was interesting!

We do a version of the over under drill (without the rope)to help develop ball control but not sure how it addresses timing and perception? I don't get it.

markgellard1 It looks like you use a two-handed backhand, is that right? I ask because I'm willing to travel to find a good one-hand coach to evaluate my shot as I've had bad luck with coaches around my area so far - especially those who try to teach a one-hander but use two hands themselves. I'm just a recreational player - but a bit of a fanatic.

I was watching the video and also trying to figure out what you meant to say. It was too late when I found out!

Why does she take all her forehands in the closed stance? At a good level of tennis she will be late for every ball! In modern tennis 90% of neutral rally balls are struck from an open or semi-closed stance, and only when you have time to step in the court, to hit an attacking ball, then you use neutral (closed) stance.
