Q: vs Haylou GT5? A: Haylou performs admirably, the bass is tight, powerful, and just as detailed (vs Normal FIIL+ EQ), but the overall dynamic, the clarity of vocals, definition of instruments are better on the T1 Lite, sort of like the ‘resolution’ of a song is brought up a notch, also FIIL is still louder. Q: vs Alien Secret QCC010? A: The Alien sounds similar to GT5, only ever so slightly better on the bass (which again is just as good as Normal EQ on FIIL+ app), but the T1 Lite pulls ahead once more because it sounds better in everything else, and also it goes louder than Alien as well. Q: vs Soundpeats Sonic? A: Sonic sounds like T1 Lite on Bass EQ, but way more boomy (e.g. a drum kick thump more than it should) and even more V-shaped, which means vocals sound clearer (than FIIL) but doesn’t sound as full. Also, FIIL is WAY louder, like 4-5 clicks louder, one chillin’ at 60% one is almost maxed out xD Q: vs Soundpeats H1? A: H1 sounds like Sonic, but done much better, bass kicks have gone from boomy to satisfyingly punchy, and trebles are bright and clear without compromising on the mids. Still very V-shaped, but very fun to listen to. FIIL T1 Lite puts focus on the vocals but doesn’t reach the highest notes as clear, and the bass (on bass EQ ofc) isn’t as pleasing. This is where the FIIL T1 Pro comes in and be at the level of H1, albeit at a different sound signature, thus why I put H1 and T1 Pro side by side, they cater to different tastes. Q: vs Soundpeats TruEngine 3SE? A: I’ve sold mine, unfortunately, but I remember it sounding great for the price, a balanced and capable sound that can play any genre very well. I think the T1 Lite performs just as good or better than 3SE, but it has a more compact case and earbuds design (remember I complained about the bulk in the review?), it's waterproof, and most importantly, it's cheaper. What else can I say? 😆 Q: vs Edifier X3? A: I’m not super fond of this one (check my review) and I’ve sold mine already but I remember it being quite V-shaped (though not as much as Sonic), so the difference will be similar to GT5, with extra soundstage improvement Ooff! @@MFLSL77 sound and battery life is better by 10x. The controls (as long as you can download the app) are a night and day comparison to haylou. Fit is fine as well, like the haylou i just stayed with the default rubbers and i haven't had an issue with it falling off. I use when riding the motorcycle and it doesn't fall off even when wearing under a helmet.

Just bought this myself, and the sound quality is so much better than any TWS earbuds I’ve owned. I have the Mpow X3, and I hated the sound quality, Bluetooth connection, and discomfort of it. Compared to the Mpow X3, the comfort, sound quality, and ease of connection is much, much, much superior. Great news. Just got T1 Lite and application that you download (QR code on the box) is in English!!! and all button sequences are described in English too. @v o r Honestly not that tight like all my other earbuds. So i got myself a memory foam adapters. Never thought it exist even though always used memory foam plugs in data-center ... Saw it somewhere and ordered same day from Lazada))) Its cheap and it will take a shape of your ear "hole")))... so yeah now its sitting way much better, and feeling much better too. BTW. my memory foam adapters are from TRN brand, if it helps to get an idea... I assume that the downside of memory foam is that its getting bigger when you clean it. It will get spoiled way much faster then rubber but considering the price and comfort its worth. (my personal oppinion)

i just got mine today. my previous daily tws is haylot gt pro. few things i want to say : 1. the case is so slick and pretty and slim 2. i like to listen to music at max volume, needless to say, it exceeded my expectations of loudness specially if you download the app then max the volume output there. 3. if you download the fiil+ app it will require you to open permission to storage, location, and phone and contacts thats a red flag. SOOOO what i did is i did install it, activate all the conrtrols, choose my favorite music preset genre, max out the volume then i uninstalled it. Your setting preference stays but the app is gone. they might already have my info anyway. your choice. China am i right ? (i am from philippines ) 4. I am so weirded out but the music preset i choose was the treble preset rather than the bass preset although i am a huge bass head. Its just the treble preset makes the voice come forward and the clarity of the bass is there not unlike the boomy bass preset. its just more clear. 5. THE SOUND IS INSANE. SUPERB I MUST TELL. DEFINITELY BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. ANYWAY THANK YOU KENNETH FOR ANOTHER GREAT TWS SUGGESTION. I picked my gt proo a year ago also because of you. the battery in the left bud fails so i decided to buy a new tws. MORE POWER TO YOUR CHANNEL.

@@zwart9881 I have mine for 4 months now and it's been great so far. I use it while lifting and I even listen to it while on the heavy bag (boxing) and jump rope. I even take it with me in in the shower. Bass is good, not over the top where it rattles your eardrums but just enough. I'm no audiophile and I still have my GT1's but I'd pick the T1 lite hands down. If you can fork over the extra cash, go for the T1 pros. It's better in quality and they say the fit is great. Pairing is also seamless. Unlike the gt1's where you have to reset every time you accidentally unpair the two buds (like when you fall asleep sideways), you can just put them back in the case and you're good to go. My only complaint at the beginning is getting used to the chinese pairing and connected (sounds?) but that's about it. Overall, a solid buy. Better than the gt1's in every aspect: durability, audio quality, water resistant, battery life.

Ken, thank you for this review it has been so helpful. I have been using Fiil T1 lite all year thanks to your recommendation. The sound quality is great, mic is solid, good battery life, some water resistance. Thanks also for the explanation of the app, I really appreciate it!!! Hi i want to let everyone know fiil lite sound is very good, however there is a major deal breaker. It just don’t fit well, after 1 hour of usage the ear got pain and not comfortable any more, it not about the ear tip cause I have try many ear tip but don’t help, the shape of the earphone will touch a part of my ear and cause discomfort. To date creative gold and alien secret is most comfortable tws for me due to the shape. I would rank them 1st creative, 2nd alien, 3rd fiil. If i can pass the fiil fit issue than it is definitely 1st place together with creative gold.

i have t1xs and i think it’s better than t1 lite. i don’t know in terms of SQ because i never tried the others two. and i think it’s the best value for budget tws. but two of my reason that i choose t1xs than t1 lite is because they have global version app and they have earfin.

Couldnt decide beetween these or the pistonbuds, but i bought these from AliExpress from polish warehouse. I am excited to compare them to the e12 ultra. I would like to buy the Lite version to replace my Haylou GT1XR since my father wants to use it, but sadly it's too expensive currently at Shopee Tokopedia etc :(( It's above 600 thousands rupiah sigh. But the mics are on point for sure. If the voice volume was slightly higher, it would be one of the best mics on in-ear buds. Would love to see Soundpeats TrueAir2 quality mics on these buds.

@@binongzkie I have the tws1 pro and its one of the best I have. Just bought the t1 lite. Waiting for it to be shipped. Hope its better than my tws1 pro. The baterry is 7 hours, way less than my tws1 pro. But if the bass and sound in general are better then It's worth it.

Appreciate the comment so much 🙏🏻 I’ve gotten in contact with Sabbat but they’re still waiting for the units to arrive in my country, so hopefully soon! EDIT: I’ve never brought any earbuds for a swim (since covid pools are closed), but I think even the manufacturers warns that audio signal will not work underwater, so I say no TWS at the moment are suitable for swimming

So the T1 lite costs about 40% of what the galaxy buds+ does, the T1 pro about 80%. What should I do?, I was almost getting the buds+. Who have compared them?. I like the sound of my blon bl03 and something close to the Harman U shape curve, I don't like thin sounds and the Mids presence is really important to me, I'm also sensitive of high peaks and probably 95% of the tws earphones out there won't suit me.

I want to update this post. The galaxy buds+ are even cheaper now. Anyway I got the T1 lite and I'm happy with them, I can't really expect more from a TWS. Blon bl03 are a real pain, I could never make them fit well.

Second update. The Dolby almost EQ settings from my Huawei phone works really well with my T1 lite so, yes I do have EQ at the end.

Try the Baseus Encok wm01 plus sir Kenneth , I had Fiil T1 pro and Baseus Wm01 plus. When comparing the both of this earbuds in terms of Sound signature I prefer the Baseus Encok WM01 plus although the Bass are equal but the mids highs of Fiil T1 pro is a bit harsh when you increase volume up to 80% but the Baseus even in a full volume it's enough richness and open.

Scarbir agrees with you, Lite has less highs than Pro. But he says Lite is "displaying a deeper-diving sub-bass that performs steadier in crowded music pieces than Pro". While you seem to prefer the base of the Pro (default EQ). Thoughts? Scarbir never mentioned Lite base EQ is not as good as Pro base EQ. I appreciate your level of details in the comparison!! I might go for Pro since I prefer slightly more base.

Mine arrived a couple weeks ago. Impressive for the price but the touch controls are too sensitive for me. The doesn't support locking the touch controls as far as I can tell, so I'll be selling them. I need buds i can workout in and doesn't register taps when I sweat or put on a hoodie.

as someone whos really frugal i gotta say this product's quality is ten times better than its price. it has all the features I need on a tws earbuds, the waterproof coating is an addition a++++. the only complaint I have is it touch screen is quite sensitive which I wish were just buttons instead so the controls don't always change when you accidentally touch em lmao

Mann tell me about it! Exactly like you said it is unfortunate that the touch sensor might trigger by itself especially when in contact with water, I really wish more earbuds would come with buttons like the Tronsmart Onyx Free, that thing was fantastic
