I really get the whole dancing vs athleticism thing. When your athletic you can do more at a certain speed and moves look more dynamic but if your not that athletic your forced to be more creative and rely less on dynamics and I think the first guy definitely had the best balance when it comes to both and I still don’t know his name😭

I’d say Joseph Wu focuses on Dilla-esque beats, Detroit hip-hop, but also boom bap from time to time, a lot of not so well known underground producers… There is no certain word you can just google, you need to dig a lot, but as mentioned above J Dilla is a good place to start
