I just wanted to clarify, Solaria is a vocal synth bank by Eclipsed Sounds, the actual program is SynthesizerV by Dreamtonics, which you then buy different 'voices' for by different companies. It's a similar voice synth to Vocaloid, so you still need to input voice and lyrics before the AI will 'sing' it for you. Hope that helps!🥰

My take away was Sonic PI! How did you work with Chat GPT together with Sonic PI? I love it when strange new ideas for starting point manifest like that. I'm an old school metal head turned all things digital music enthusiast (more like obsessive-ist. Ha!), so having this new ideas outside my past musical vocabulary blows my mind and has helped me expand my creativity for sure

Is there AI software or service that you can sing a new original song and the AI can add the music in the "style" you select? ie: sing a song, give the AI a few bars of rhythm, base, and melody, and then ask the AI to ad music in the style of a big band era, or barber shop quartet, etc.

I think iZotope Neutron mix assistant is a tool that helps with that. From what I've seen the results can be slightly above mediocre imo... but I guess if you're a beginner who doesn't have much mixing knowledge, then using it along with their Ozone Elements presets on the groups and master track along with their AI mastering assistant... then you can get some decent results from only making a few simple decisions.

The way to get a good result out of something like Bruce mentioned is to mix as much as you can, and be sure to have a reference track and be sure to focus on the brightness, mids, lows and stereo/mono signals. Then use Ozone, and adjust how much you want it to effect your mix & master. But doing it manually at the moment is better, but AI will improve.

Yeah I dunno man. How many artists have imitated other artists? Most of them? AI is a tool, as Marco said. Use reduction to boil your argument down to its logical conclusion... One level down from AI, someone could say the same thing about using samples you didn't personally record. We can keep going down levels - if you didn't code your own vst instruments, and if you didn't manufacture your own computer parts, and if you didn't mine the ore in your cpu, and so on all the way down to the last level, if you didn't create your own universe...
