Oh man, I loved this vid, that music, that guitar! Especially that guitar! I had to have that guitar! I went online to buy one. I didn't care how much it was. I added it to my cart along with the awesome bundle package, selected yes on the additional 3 year warranty, pulled out my trusty Capital One card, entered all the pertinent information, clicked yes to buy, DECLINED.

What a coincident. I was playing my AC5R when this video came on. Great video, btw. First time viewer, I'll be back. I searched a long time for an acoustic that had a sound I knew I could enjoy everyday. For the longest time I thought it had to be a M or a G or a T. I tried many of them...and returned them, disappointed. A session guitarist I met at a mutual friend's bd party asked if I'd ever played a Yamaha acoustic. I hadn't, he told me you can't go wrong with any Yamaha. From our conversation he sugested I check out the A series. After a few weeks of researching Yamaha I ordered my AC5R. Best guitar decision I've ever made. That was three years ago. I do have a Martin U.S. made 12 string and a Gibson J200. I love both. They each have their places but my AC5R is my everyday guitar. It was in tune and sounded great when I got it. It sounds even better now. I moved 1200 miles in mid June from warm SoCal to northern Washington. My 22 guitars were with the movers for 3 weeks. My AC5R was the only one that was in tune when I finally got to open the case.

@@valleyken ... truth. I'm sure if you made an instrument out of, a popcorn bucket, heat shrink plastic film and a giant rubber band, with the film being like a drum skin and the rubber band, acting like the rim, he'd end up playing the thing, like a bongo drum. Of course, there is need to form the film, first making sure it's the thickness, of a Pringles chip can lid, before doing this. If this happens, I'd totally watch the video.

First guitar I bought with my own money was/is a Yamaha FX370C with solid top. Not the most expensive, but very nice quality anyway. But I do prefer classical guitars with the nylon strings. They sound softer/warmer, and are (in my opinion) easier to play. My first love. Until Claudio turned me onto synths, which are so much easier to play than guitars :D

@@hereasafanofallsorts5164 I heard something like that several times about Takamine guitars... in some ways it was true... but nowadays Takamine guitars play well even unplugged. I really like the Yamaha products in terms of bass guitars. The BB series of bass guitars is one of my favorites. But acoustic guitars are not the tone I want. They are probably perfect for songwriters. Maybe slide musicians will find inspiration in Yamaha acoustic guitars. For bluesmen whose timbre of voice is not too low and grasping, Yamaha guitars will be the main instrument. But I would not have yamaha guitars as my main instrument. I want to write instrumental music and the acoustic guitar seems to me to have a tight lower register sound. If there were a second guitars in my track, I would probably have chosen the Yamaha acoustics. Thanks for attention.
