Today I'm reviewing the Insta360 ONE RS, the best action camera of 2022! It blows them all away with its 3 interchangeable lenses (wide, standard and 360), an upgraded & faster core, 3 built in mics, plenty of attachable extras and the awesome Flowstate stabilisation. This has got to be one of the best budget action cameras of 2022 so far.

This is currently the main competitor to the GoPro Hero 10 and it sure does put up a good fight. With 5.7k 360 video easily editable through their app and 4k on the other lenses, this camera holds well in plenty of different scenarios! Today I'm using it for some urban freeride, mtb trail riding and jump bike dirt jump action.

It really is amazing how video making has advanced over just my life . I’m sure you can look back lewi and think the same . I have a old camcorder that my dad got and remember thinking it was the coolest thing just cos it had night vision and seemed small . Then I remember the growth of digital cameras ,phone cameras and seeing GoPro stuff . And now these amazing 360 cameras are just another level . Can’t wait to see what’s next . Great video 👍

Under the trees has a little to do with my export settings, the actual footage looks good on computer! Not sure about pilgrips unfortunately

That was quite interesting seeing the many things that can go wrong with the Insta360 video. ie Handle bar disappearing, join lines, wishywashy movement, inertial zooming. I dont want sound negative, and maybe some of these "errors" can be fixed or even ehanced in editing. I'm certainly a potential customer for the Insta360. Looking forward to more footage Lewi.

I think with some work in the app these things can be fixed quite easily but these problems come with all the 360 cams so I guess it is just something one hast to accept at the current state of 360 cams :)

Good info and video mate. I've had an issue with the data not saving to the micro SD card after just erasing old files vs formatting the card. Not sure if that is a camera issue or related to the specific card I am using which is a PNY brand. I'm using a mac OS. I always reformat the card after each file transfer session to avoid a repeat occurrence but would like to get to the bottom of this. Getting ready to buy the X3 version as soon as it is in stock at B&H.

As long as it’s a top model PNY SD then can’t imagine that would be the issue. Maybe the card got damaged and keeps corrupting because of it? Also could be a software issue on the camera! I’ve never really heard of cards deleting themselves so that is strange for sure

Colour mode was vivid I believe! But other than that, should have been pretty standard

I own all the go pros. One thing I will say the go pro max has one touch for 360 to vlog go pro. That one has more pieces. Maybe easier for edit. But I’m not sold it beats a go pro. Unless they send me one I’m go pro all the way. That small white one was lacking a lot since it was small it looses a lot. Of things sd card slot screen.
