A lot of star wars is based off of WW2, the empire has the aesthetic of those silly guys in Germany and Italy, the blasters are WW2 designs, the starships do WW2 dogfights and the space battles are fought with big battleship-esque spaceships with big guns. Marauders basically just strips away the shiny sci-fi glamor to create something more gritty and grounded.

Hey Habbie, I just found this vr mmo rpg called township tale, you can do litterally anything you want, from mining through 100 layers of caves, to forging and smiting your own tools and weapons, to foraging and cooking your own food. I think you would enjoy it very much, and I think it would make a great video!

If you're enjoying marauders, you should give Hunt Showdown a whirl! It's an extraction shooter for the smoothest brains, as the only objective is to kill the AI boss and get out alive before other players take your bounty. It's also brimming with atmosphere, instead of space WW2 it's zombie wild west, and in my opinion is some of the best PvP out there right now. Love your content, thanks for all the laughs Habie

Nailed why I love it too: the pure aesthetic and waaaay easier than Tarkov. You can still face no lifers with better gear, but so long as they don't squad up on you you can still get the drop on them. Tarkov new player vs basement dweller with top tier gear is night and day. Not to mention needing a map to know where and even how to extract, whereas if you pay attention in Marauders all you need to do is remember your way back. Also, the world they're building is SO COOL, if WWII had ended with all the alliances fleeing to space in cool Space Battleship Yamato-style ships
