lol trust me, 99% of people HATE Bentley for Men Intense on first sniff, but after some time with it grow to appreciate it. The same happens for the regular Bentley for Men. It took me quite a while to like it, but now I can appreciate it. I still don't wear it or recommend it to anyone since I know most people are gonna hate it. It is the same with Encre Noir. So many KZbin people recommend these two fragrances saying how great they are, but literally no one likes them at first lol. Yes, they are cheap, yes they are creative, but they are the exact opposite of what people want in a fragrance. Takes quite the while to appreciate them

Completely agree, hard to like at first and even regretted it after the first wear. However they stay interesting in the long run because there is so much going on. Those are the kind of fragrances I have for myself and put on whenever I want to. Except at work lmao

i bought versace the dreamer in the summer and fell in love with the scent profile but the performance was so and so, today actually is my first time wearing it in a little bit of a cold weather and it's been a little bit over 8 hours and I'm still smelling it on my self while writing this comment it's absolutely STUNNING 😍✨️

Rochas is definitely the best house for cheapies , Rochas l'Homme (32 €/100ml) and Moustache (37€/75ml) are really a steal for the price. With these 2 fragrances your can cover you needs if you have a small budget since Rochas l'Homme is a very versatile and well blended blue fragrance and Moustache can be use for more formal occasions.

The strangest thing happened to me with Encre Noire à l'Extrême. I sniffed all three versions in a shop in Ukraine, around three years ago, just as I was starting my own fragrance journey. I'd just heard of Encre Noire, along with ominous suggestions of a "cat pee" vibe, so when I saw it, them, on the shelf I simply had to find out. Sniffed the "basic one" (EdT?, I forget) and, wow, what a shock, a shock of a very "mixed message" sort because, on the one hand, I found it mesmerizing while, on the other hand, I knew I definitely couldn't risk smelling like...THAT...in public, not among human beings, certainly not among my friends. What would they think?! Then I sniffed the Sport version. Well, yes, same mesmirizing "waft," if less so than the first, same seductively dangerous weirdness, but far less aggressive, just maybe try-able. And then I tried the Extrême, expecting it to repel me right through the shop wall into the next zip code. Sniff.... Nothing. Sniff again. Still nothing. Sprayed it on my skin. Sniffed. Zero. Could have been water. "Extreme"? Compared to what? The EdT was infinitely more pungent (than "water"!). Who knows, maybe the shop had a defective bottle? Anyway, I went with the Sport, which was as daring as I was ready for as a newbie. Now, three years later, I've cottoned to many more challenging scents, and I think those close to me, in my circles, have also gotten accustomed to my sometimes "wafting" in more exotic ways. Plus, on the skin after an hour or two, just about all these fragrances nicely settle down to being part of you, your personal "ambience" and impression. If they don't, you really don't want them. Anyway, I've never gone back to get the "basic" Encre Noire but I really mean to, now that I'm comfortable with stronger stuff. Some time I want to smell the Extreme again, to see whether that "nothing" impression was a fluke.

Encre noire a'lextreme is one of my most recently aquired scents...and definitely my most challenging. I only smell....ink. I've worn it around the house a few times and always wind up having to wash it off. Never had covid and I've got 20+ scents...I'm just lost on this one.

I have a similar reaction. It's complex and interesting, but I find the balsamic note off-putting. It starts of wonderfully well but in the dry down becomes more and more unpleasant.

I can't recommend Moustache in 2023. I bought my first bottle in 2021 and absolutely loved it. It had a great level of quality and good performance. The second bottle which i purchased just two months ago is really disappointing. The quality took a little bit of a hit and performance is not good at all.

I hated Bentley for men intense. It reminds me of cheap liquor too much to wear. tbh, many fragrances I dont wear I use in my car for air freshners, but I was worried about spraying Bentley in my car and getting pulled over and a police officer wondering why it smells like an open container
