Have you (or others) discovered ways to generate "clean" vocals? Almost everything I has generated in Suno AI Pro (rock, pop, country, etc.) has a lot of effects on the vocals which makes them sound "muddy". Even after (a) separating the stems (lalals, band lab), (b) generating a new voice (ElevenLabs), and (c) working with it in Logic Pro. But can't clean them up. Ideas? Thanks.

Oh Praise ALL POSSIBLE HOLY DEITIES!! Thank you for this video!! I watched it while in the exam room at my local urgent care after a small accident due to weather conditions (not the point)… there COULD NOT have been a better environment to experiment with such innovation!! I created a song about my circumstances at the moment 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I haven’t laughed so hard or felt that level of captivation or amusement in longer than I can recall… I was genuinely laughing so hard that I had to force myself to stop so I could catch my breath… the staff couldn’t understand because I was wearing my AirPods, but when I tell you that I am damn near certain they haven’t witnessed a patient that was 100% sober seeking treatment for an injury like mine demonstrating such genuine glee, I mean it. They appeared so puzzled, even after I tried to explain “I’ve just created a song about visiting the hospital, it has complete production, instrumentals, lyrics and vocals, all detailing me sitting here, right now!” These people, healers, so brilliant, they just couldn’t wrap their minds around what I had said. It was a phenomenal moment. Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏🏼 🙏🏼🙏🏼

You never need "Write a song about..." because Suno knows its purpose is to write music. More importantly, when writing a prompt the tokens that appear at the start of the prompt are heavily weighted--and you just told it that "write" and "song" were the two most valuable words to consider. (2:53) You can also put in "XX bpm" and "key of X" if you want to customize it better and remain consistent with future remixes.

I've been learning production for the past 5 years and have only just gotten to a point where i feel like im making decent music and seeing this is actually kind of depressing. It's not perfect but it's progressing so fast that it really feels like a threat to creatives more than an asset. I see a future where this tech is so profitable that the people who spent years learning their craft will be swept under the rug. Especially in the commercial space because why would companies waste money on composers, producers, mixing and mastering engineers, when they can just use prompts. It's impressive it really is but it's equally terrifying unless laws pass to limit its commercial use especially when it eventually reaches a quality level that's indistinguishable from an independent artist.

I am taking some of my own original songs I used to have to struggle to produce not that great recordings / demos and I knew they were just not all that but the best I could do / afford. Now I play Bernie Taupin to suno ai's Elton John and am loving the experience. Some of the new songs are fantastic. It's so great to have access to something like a good female vocalist to make songs. For some suno ai will be a toy. For others, a tool. I see the main artistic skill involved here as being discretion. Just because it's new and fun and amazing, you still need good lyrics and good melody and have all the parts fit together to make a successful song IMO. I think because so much of modern music is already cookie cutter and designed for mass market appeal (more people liking it = more money). So popular music is already bland, and now we have AI software that will write music for anybody, using that bland shit as the source of inspiration. No one wants another generic EDM track, or typical pop track. We have that already. So unless people can create cutting edge experimental music that has a popular appeal with the AI, then it won't really stand out from the usual.

Just as with any tool, it will lower the bar for entry (which is a good thing, gatekeepers...tisk tisk) which will also raise the bar for what is truly "exceptional" content.
