There's a reason many police officers don't wear body armor unless responding to an active shooter or going after a murderer on the run. They rent exactly chiseled like most mericsns May be different in other parts of the world. there's also the sterotypicl police officer where his breakfast usually consist of donuts and coffee. However the feds and swat probably have a better physical ability.

only thing is they will slow you down. i was going to build an emr russian kit but the plate carriers i found had real Kevlar/ceramic plates in them. also, Sappi plates don't fit properly.
