Hi. Any advice on how to wash it ?

Just got mine a few days. Unfortunately, the magnetic retention system on the front of the plate carrier was sewn on backwards. In order to fasten it i had to flip the cummerbund inside out which means the quick release pull tabs aren't accessible

Is the cummerbund just a single piece of mesh with the molle webbing, or is it more of a pouch that you could insert side plates into? If it’s a pouch style, then hopefully they release the hexpanels for it to add the rigidity to actually use the molle

Great review. I currently own one and the only con is that you have to be very particular when pulling the magnetic buckles. If you pull too much at an angle and not horizontal to how the buckle sits, you can snap the plastic buckle piece with the cord attached to it. Happened to me unfortunately with one of the shoulder buckles. And they don’t sell any buckle replacements. What is good though, if this does happen to you, you can send a message to their support team and they will just replace the entire plate carrier! Can’t wait to get mine back and I’ll be more mindful how I’m pulling the cords!

You can buy buckles on ebay, don't pay too much mate just get generic ones.

Plate carriers are designed around SAPI plate sizes. Common misconception is a larger dude needs a bigger plate carrier. Almost everyone is a medium. Measure from the top of your V on your torso to the top of your belly button. Plate carriers are designed to cover vital organs unlike body armour which covers a lot more of your body

Can I use this with real steel plates? Would this with stand range days?

It wasn’t designed to take real steel plates so I’m not sure how they’ll do if I’m honest mate

You will find that these plate carriers are often superior to the current models offered by AR500 and others selling 2 steel plates and plate carrier for $150 and many homeowners find them a reasonable investment for realistic home defense. The features of this model should enjoy similar buy-in.

You’ll need to move the webbing enough until you see the slit in the buckle. Then you can put the webbing through the slit to remove it

I wouldn't recommend it. It's overpriced. Get something like a Crye SPC or Ferro Concepts Slickster instead. Or you could get a Reaper QRB which costs almost half the amount of the Nov plate carrier but is exactly the same quality

Awesome! As a Florida man, that mesh and breathability looks phenomenal. I have taken my PC off after a game and it was nearly dripping with sweat. 🫣 I have no bought this plate carrier greatly improves on this. Maybe I’ll have to get one…
