I have this watch with the black face, its a lovely face with the gold indicators, the strap is a good quality and fits me well with no links taken out, but I have huge wrists, I set this a couple of weeks ago against the atomic clock and its still bang on. Pagani can be hit and miss but this is definitely a hit.

I agree that this is one of Pagani Designs better efforts as of late. It's good to see them transitioning away from offering exact replicas and homages to coming up with more original designs and interpretations. And don't scoff at that Seiko VH31 mecaquartz movement. It's severely underrated and deserves to be offered in more watches.

Jason, thanks for spotting this one and bringing it to our attention! I agree it’s beautiful. Strangely, I found it in PD’s official AE store at different prices depending on whether I used the AE app or found it via the web! In the latter case, it was about $41 USD. So I ordered one. (Apologies for not using your link, but it led to a listing that was $9 higher.) Keep up the good work!

I just got a white one as i needed a light toned beater for my everyday watches. I got it for 40$ and honestly it is a killer for this price. Elegant, nice size, good construction and movement, a bit of twist with the dial pattern, not a direct copy of any watch, what else can i ask? Its a really cool watch for no money!

I got the silver/white version of this; seems to have some antireflective coating. It’s a very attractive watch that has gotten a few compliments.

I much prefer the VH31 movement over NH35 because I can just pick it up and wear it without worrying about the time. I've grown to like this particular movement for the smooth sweeping hands!

@@JasonTheWatchGuy It has arrived today and I have not been disappointed at all! I have the exact version you showed. The dial is really nice and I think the gold tone and the violet go together very well. At first glance I thought the lume was quite useless since the applied area is so small, but I noticed that it improves the readability of the time at certain low lighting conditions even when the lume is not active. The boxed sapphire is also very nice, but I think I need to be extra cautious not bumping into something hard. I also like the case finishing with the chamfered edges a lot. The watch definitely punches above its price. It may be my favourite Pagani Design yet. I own the Speedy homage v2 and another model with a "tiffany" color dial which I also like a lot. The only PD watch I was a bit disappointed by was a Tudor BB homage which is quite thick and heavy and also has an annoying red ring around the base of the crown which IMO should only be visible when you forget to screw the crown in.

Ordered one of these after they fixed the typo, really awesome watch. If there's anything I could complain about it's the AR coating, Pagani clearly executed it to the same degree that they do lume: you can tell it's there but it isn't enough to actually be useful. Really great dome on it though.

Good to see they corrected the mispelled resistnat to resistant. The pictures they used in their advertising as well as actual models i've seen reviewed online was mispelled

Hi thanks for your review. I just ordered the IWC homage with the power reserve. That is the best they have brought out in a long time. This is ok but I'll be giving it a miss. I saw this when it came out. I think it might be one that looks better in real life...The mechaquatz is a plus as it makes it easy to pick up if not used for a while.

I've only been collecting a short while but I'm easily into double figures but would seem it's easy to collect (with some good research) some quality budget watches. My next purchase I think will be one of the AV8 hawker hurricanes, not sure what you think of those but the more I see of them the more I like them, problem is I'm a sucker for the chronograph style watches. Can't wait till the end of the month to get it, I know its very sad lol.

Jason, the pics of this watch show 'water resistnat' on the dail in the Ali store. Yours doesnt have this mistake. But there are models with this mistake. Any idea of this is a V2?

Wow, an extremely fantastic offering....this is an absolute winner, even the PD text doest bother on this one(don't know why 🤔) it just fits....however because of the texture, the meteorite aesthetic it would be an advantage to have as little cover as possible so that we could admire the whole thing.... quartz, not an issue for me personally but if they could keep those dimensions and use an NH38 that would be an improvement....cracking find brother, u want one....🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⌚🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⌚

Not a bad watch from Pagani. They do watches without rotating bezel's quite well. I actually don't like the dial texture on this model. But that's me. Question. As you seem to do a lot of Pagani reviews. Have you checked out the Pagani Design PD-YS008 model? I think this watch from Pagani looks really good even though it's a homage.
