This IS the best quad I've ever ridden. I love this thing and it will go anywhere!! Can't get enough!

I have the 1000s. After riding Honda's and Kawasaki's for years I can say it's the fastest, most plush, and stable atv I've ever had. No reliability issues as of yet. My aging spine and hip remind me every time I ride how much I love it!

Great video ❤❤❤I had a chance a week ago to ride on a xp1000 with a ride command on it.I love the response and the front and rear view. It was a 2023 model. The owner was picking it up from the dealership.

I wouldn't get to worked up over the hitch size. Chances are the hitch from your truck may have the wrong drop for use on the quad. But I get your point.

Those cam preload adjusters on the front shocks were set to full soft in defence of the soft/bottoming suspension comment Steve. Not sure where the rear were set at. Awesome, powerful machine for sure. Also not sure why KZbin but numbers after my username…..

Skip the scrambler and just buy the sportsman 1000S. You'll thank me later. Best machine built. And once you own one you'll see exactly what I mean.

@@disintegratingeden idk where your from but im from Louisiana. The sportsman 1000S fits through far more then you think it does. I go everywhere with Hondas to any other brand you can name. We all ride together and we don't stick to just trails that are cut out. We make our own. So trust me when I say itll go anywhere any other quad will go. I'm proof of it.

Just got a 1000xp. Love the quad, but shortly after i got it, the screen started flickering bad. It was dried grease in the ignition switch. Then the plastic dipstick was broken off, and the piece is still in there. Was told at the dealership that its common, and just leave it.

Great video TK! I always wonder what the expected reliable life of these things is, in terms of either mileage on the odometer or hours of use. A modern car should get you to about 200k kms/ 120k miles without much in the way of major repairs. What's the equivalent on ATVs? Do count the duty cycle in distance like for cars, or operating hours, like heavy machinery? This, like a lot of "performance" vehicles looks great.. when it's new. You don't see many high mileage performance cars though. Is this ATV in it for the long run, or is it just a rich man's disposable toy? Thanks for the interesting and informative video!
@hammerheartdan6311 Жыл бұрын
To answer your question, high mileage on these modern ATVs is considered in my opinion, around 15,000kms. I’ve seen many can-am outlanders with 30,000+ kms so long as you keep up with service intervals. I personally grease after every ride, clean/inspect clutches twice a year, change oils in engine, gearbox and diffs every 50 hours. I have about 4700kms, on my second set of tires and zero issues on my can-am outlander and I’m also not easy on it but I don’t abuse it, it’s just a lot of fun and you can get carried away by its speed/power. It is my baby after all and I plan on keeping it forever.

Holy cow I thought that top speed run was in kmh. 80mph is just scary!
@jasonmorehouse3756 Жыл бұрын
That's easily attainable speed for just about any ATV with an 850 or larger engine. My stock Can-Am outlander 850 will go over 128 KPH or 80 mph
@jeffturner9350 Жыл бұрын
My 2019 seemed to always have something weird come lose, belt problems, front diff bolts backed out. My 850 was a Cadillac like my 94 400. But it also had weird stuff brake on it. Went back to Kawasaki and Yamaha.

I own two. Great machines. They have been out for a couple of years and unfortunately there’s not a lot of aftermarket stuff to put on them. Surprisingly. The bumpers are garbage and very thin not even securely attached to the frame.

We get 850's and 1000's in all the time for maintenance and repairs, they're fun to ride but not buy. So many add the optional 18 or 30 pack to the ride and all that power leaves a mark. For the same money I've got a used GMC 2500 4wd and a pair of used Brute Forces, case closed.

@@ThomasJeffersonIIII only work at a shop 6 days per week but I'm sure your observations are a at much greater level then mine. We only have a minimum of 40 machines at our location and I ride just about everything that comes in the door, and at home I have a dozen 3 and 4 wheelers to ride on my trails but I'm sure your vast experience makes my level of expertise seem a distant runner up.
