looks like a GAMAGOAT. One of the Army's bigest mistakes. Made in the lat 70's they lasted about a year.

what's the fuel consumption cruising speed? how many nautical miles per tank?
@classicxl9 сағат бұрын
i’m looking at either the KQ or. grizzly 700 probably the more base esp because of the price here in canada . one thing the KQ has over the grizzly is fit and finish and i don’t like the idea of a painted body on something that gets abused like a atv . I’ve read online of grizzly owners having the paint peeling off when washing it . The kq i believe has the paint colour right in the plastic . Still not sure which way to go it’s weird seeing dealers with new 2022 KQ for sale . The kq looks close to a honda to me and grizzly definitely has the 90s atv look

Not quite sure what is the point for super charged and 300 hp. When you are in ocean, cruising in high speed is not necessary. The fuel consumption and comfort ride is always a consideration for fisherman.

Sherp started out at under 80k. Now that these have caught on. They jacked the price way up. This also isn't near as good as a sherp on the water. Both are way overpriced now.

Question, is there a trim control? Would you use that maybe in heavy waves in the ocean? What do you think about trim/ride height? THANKS
@saltystripesfishing2980Күн бұрын
If these were under 10k id understand but this is the same price as a decent boat with gear. Its a really cool pwc but its still just a rich mans toy. They need to make these affordable while catering to the fishing crowd.

Under 10k lol can't get no ski under 10 unless it's a plastic spark.
@saltystripesfishing2980Күн бұрын
@akatopj22 yeah maybe a little low but id say no more than 15k for it. That small piece of fiber glass doesnt even cost that much especially with the small amounts of resin that factories are using now. It probably costs them around 8k to make and theyre upcharging these things to be around 3 to 4 times the price. Spresk8ng from the sperspective of a fisherman whats the point of spending the same price of entry level bay boat for a pwc? You're getting less boat for the money. I could see if this were a racing ski with a complex power system and it was made out of the highest quality glass or carbon fiber but its just a basic ski made for fishing that has a fighting chair on the back deck. Its nothing special. Its neat but way over priced
@akatopj2220 сағат бұрын
@saltystripesfishing2980 300hp is alot,ur getting a fast ski.U can't get a boat that goes that fast brand new for that price.Its best of both worlds I see what u are saying though.I just bought a gtr 230 thisnyear paid 14 500

Supercharged....uhm, no. And that slanted platform is a dealbreaker. Like the idea of the fighting chair but just like most bass boats, they're rarely used. A flat, maximum sized FLAT fishing platform is what is needed.

They've got most of the kinks worked out with the DCT no. A piece of advice for anybody doing their own work though: be careful when tightening the drain plug. 19 ft/lbs. Theres not a lot of thread there and if you strip it, more than likely the oil pump will pick up aluminum. If you're lucky, a new oil pump and thorough cleaning will get you going. If not, you'll need a cam

I've never known people would fish on a jet ski? That rotating seat is a cool feature. Seems like they put the "spin the engine backwards" feature from their snowmobiles to clean the intake. Pretty cool.

It was not just a problem of the hitch, but the negative tongue Weight. It was too short a trailer or too long logs and most of the weight rested behind the trailer axis. I know that this is Fun-Style Review, especially since the machine is intended for homework, but please take another trailer next time or take a saw and shorten the logs before loading, because it looks terribly awkward, even if it is a way on your own land. Such situations throw almost all reviews about the "work machine", which is strange with such an experienced guy.

just started the video, thanks for doing one of these, it's sad how they just disappeared and most didn't know what happened... just started watching... i'm commenting because i saw you take your feet off the vehicle while it was moving, this is probably the most common mistake that caused most accidents, unlike a dirt bike you don't want to put your feet on the ground ever, your leg up to the hip will get destroyed and ripped out of socket by being wrapped around the rear tire... you want to get the stump guards and make weld in a plate that prevents small feet from going down in that little crevice between the pedal and the back tire... you want to balance it with weight and the brakes and leaning back and just not going too fast... most of the injuries that I know were because kids many under the age of 10 were riding them around and doing stunts off them often with two kids on one vehicle because The Fall Guy was a popular TV show, so kids were trying to emulate him... the other reason like I said is getting your foot run over because you have the habits from riding a dirt bike to put your foot down, what you want to do is lean back and diagonally instead and keep your feet on the pedals, almost better to jump off the back than put one foot down like a dirt bike... they way it should have come was instead of pedals they should have had large foot platforms and a metal front part of the rear fender to keep the foot out of that wood chipper... any vehicle will flip forward, I flipped forward on my BMX right onto my face and back on the hard road way more than I ever saw someone flip on an ATC, I never saw someone flip a honda atc three wheeler, but kids in my town did get injured running over their own foot and falling off the back as a passenger without parental supervision when the kids were doing stunts other than just riding the vehicle... a friend broke his back on a quad that flipped up and over on top of him, so in our small town the most dangerous accident so far were on a quad, the ATC three wheelers had about the same rate of injuries as dirt bikes did, maybe slightly more, but the only person I know to die on a motorcycle type vehicle was someone in a crowded city who slid his japanese rice rocket and then got run over while he was lying in pain on the ground... three wheelers probably caused more minor inuries and the rest is over exaggerated, in my opinion it's much easier to flip over frontwards on a dirt bike... but just remember go slow and no drastic turns and keep your feet off the ground on a ATC/three wheeler... and take professional riding lessons from an official company like the DMV or a school that teaches how to ride dirt bikes... oh yeah... they float, and try it in the snow...

We have the sadly underpowered diesel model of the kubota which weighs 2000 lBS. It tops out at 22 mph. But it’s a 20 year machine of hard work. It’s more important that the bed carries 1000 lBS and has a hydraulic lift bed and tows 2000 lBS than it hustles down the trail. It’s a totally different animal with a hydrostatic tyranny….you’re right, it’s lineage is that if a tractor….that will last and last,

My first all terrain machine was a 1986 Honda 250 Big Red, shaft drive, top end 50 mph, 427 lbs, mono shock rear end and very agile on tight trails. Today I have a Can-Am Renegade 800R X-XC top end 75 plus mph, 607 lbs and I miss the agility of that Big Red. Point the front tire where you want to go, lift your weight off the seat and punch the throttle, wow!!!

Just got mine and its crazy fun. What a machine. Not sure it'll beat a Renegade XXC 1000 even though it has a 10hp advantage but it will be close. Will have to race my buddy who has one. I used to have a 2018 XXC 1000 and came from a XMR 1000 Renegade w/pipe and ECU flash. The Outty is not as snappy downlow but it pulls harder. Very impressed so far. My friends that road it were speechless. So easy to ride, so smooth, so comfy and so fast. BRAPPPP!!! Needs an exhaust though it's so damn quiet.
