Great review I just pulled the trigger on a Turbo Levo Expert and got it at closeout price of $6,999. Excited to pick it up!

Absolutely a great video. Great camera work, excellent commentary and good resolution. It makes it even more relevant to me that after 10 months of waiting I pick up my Specialized Turbo Levo Comp Alloy tomorrow. Thks a well done video.

You are going to love it. Such a great bike. That's the model I would buy, and just upgrade parts along the way.

I just ordered the turbo levo alloy and can't wait. I may upgrade to a higher model of levo later but in no rush as only major difference is 500 watt battery instead of 700 and of course alloy frame but only got to ride 11 miles. Be my first full sus and first e bike and cannot wait

They are great. I definitely like having a bigger battery.

Thanks for the video. Really credible review of the Levo. Appreciate that the action sequences matched what you were talking about at the time.

Great work and great review! …. and amazing tracks and scenery. So different to the steep forest tracks I tend to ride in New Zealand. Cheers. Andrew

Fine video, well produced. No apologies for audio necessary. Love that trail. As a wanna- be ebiker, I've watched tons of videos on technical trails that looked more like torture than fun. Been wanting to visit Sedona fora long time. Hope to have a Turbo Levo when I finally get the chance.

@@uosocal what are the other two? I'm in the market for the 22' Levo Comp Alloy. I keep going between that and the Decoy but I feel that Specialized is putting out the best EMTBs right now even at a premium. Couple of the my buddies have the new Levos and Kenevos and they love em!
@uosocal2 жыл бұрын
I like the Rocky Mountain Altitude Powerplay, and the Norco Sight. I also think the Scott Ransom is good. I love the Levo, especially the price of the Comp Alloy. Only problem is the small battery.

Nice review, are ebikes allowed on Sedona trails now?
@uosocal2 жыл бұрын
Technically no. There is little to no enforcement.
@JeepingNet Жыл бұрын
I see you also rode the Norco Sight VLT which would you pick?
@uosocal Жыл бұрын
Both are great, but I think the Levo is better. It also costs more.

I’m pretty sure the shifting is one click at a time because it’s an e-bike. Fyi. :)
@stepan.furman Жыл бұрын
This is e-bike thing. They restrict shifter to go several gears in row to save drivetrain. Because of motor and all the force which it delivers.

Hey. Wondering….How tall are you for the s5? Thanks
@uosocal2 жыл бұрын
6'2. I usually ride XL frames across the board.
@AB-NZ2 жыл бұрын
@@uosocal thanks for the super quick reply. Yeah….the s5 looks spot on for you then. I have an s5 expert on order (2 more weeks supposedly…. we will see 🤔😏) and I am 6ft 3 and a half so a little taller than you. And kind of in between sizes. Could have sized up to the s6 but decided that would have been a stretch too far for some of the super tight tech I ride in NZ. The s6 is very long!! Like an articulated truck. I reckon the s5 will be better for the tight tracks here. Ciao.
@uosocal2 жыл бұрын
Typically, when your in between sizes, smaller is more playful and larger size will be more stable. I think you made the right choice.

What’s the deal with e-bikes at the festival? I’m headed out this year. But have had several leg surgeries that really hinder my climbing without the e-bike. But I’ve heard that Sedona is not e-bike friendly.
@uosocal2 жыл бұрын
If you have a handicap placard, you can ride your ebike anywhere. Sedona is regulated by the USFS. According to their rules, no ebikes. You can legally ride on roads and in the bike park.
@ChefIan732 жыл бұрын
@@uosocal have you ever been hassled for the e-bike?

I have not. I talked to a couple people who have been by other riders, but eh.

Great video, but note that all Sedona trails for MTB are supposed to be none motorized if you are caught by a park ranger, it’s $400 minimum fine.

Great review. I have a 2022 Turbo Levo Expert in black. Its a fantastic ebike. That said however it will not be going with me to Sedona this weekend for a 2 week road trip. As per my understanding no ebikes are not allowed on any Sedona singletrack. Just curious how you were able to pull the demo off. As an advocate for both sides of the coin, which I respect and appreciate, for now, I think Sedona singletrack is better off w/ out ebikes.
@uosocal Жыл бұрын
The USFS says no ebikes on their land. A bunch of companies had ebike demos. There shouldn't be any distinction between types of bike, as long as you have to pedal it.
