I took a shower at LAS centurion and 2 of my friends also did, we ended getting out of there at 10:00p.m when they closed because our flight got canceled, we got so many drinks that my friend was throwing up at the airport we had a good time though.

Simon, great review as usual. From 1 December last year Australia now has Amex Centurion lounges in Melbourne and Sydney. I've had difficulty finding reviews of the upgraded lounges so don't know close in quality they are compared to Centurion lounges overseas.

After having the card for almost a year and traveling a bit and having a bunch of situations where the lounge was too far away I FINALLY got into a Centurian Lounge, the one in Phoenix. I was disappointed that it apparently is the smallest, least fancy one but it was cool. Then for the first time, I got into the one lounge in San Diego and it was surprisingly good. Glad that I am squeaking out more value of my platinum card as it's almost time to review. I did see a guy in the Centurian Card section of Phoenix and I wanted to say "Hey you're my hero!" but I didn't want to annoy him. Happy Easter!

In reference to the CLT lounge I have been there a few times and I have always found it way too packed but to their credit they do keep the space very clean. They either need to try an expansion or maybe CLT could use an escape lounge for over flow

LAX is my fave so far. Even with the downside of having to take a shuttle out of my way to get there. Still have yet to get a massage there as well. Hopefully, one day.

@@SimonKatzShow What are your thoughts on the recent authorized user annual fee increase on the Platinum, that they took Audible out of the Platinum digital credit and other Platinum changes like the if you got the vanilla Platinum, if you go for the MS Platinum or CS Platinum, you get those two as well. Its one welcome bonus only.

Been watching some of your American Express videos and I have a question, I just got a American Express Gold card last week and currently working on sign up bonus to get 90,000 welcome bonus by spending $4,000 in 6 months which is easy to do but now I want a few more cards from American Express a Blue cash everyday card and Platinum, Can I apply for both cards at the same time and will it be a soft or hard pull? Like I mention I already have a gold card

Vegas may not have as much character but the food is always decent. Denver probably has the best food overall as of recently. The problem is these lounges are getting too packed. I’ve had to wait to get into lounges recently. That gets ridiculous. You shouldn’t have to come to the airport 3 hours early just to try to ensure 30 minutes in a lounge.

Thanks for a great video. I have to comment about the Centurion Lounge in Seattle since I just stopped there last week with my family. Nice room but the food was awful. The salad looked like it had been sitting on the counter all day, the vegetables and chicken were dry and tasteless, and the soup was like it came straight out of a can. Saw the espresso bar but unfortunately we arrived after it was closed. I would avoid this location unless someone is traveling alone and does not have to pay for guests.
