i like spellbreaker more than the condi berserker, but man warri feels outclassed by so many other classes. nowhere near s-tier. and as soon as you get outnumbered you just die, or you gotta run away and whoever wanted to put willybender on the same level as warri is crazy. alone the mobility of willybender makes it so much better. outruns any warri. and their burst is far superior too

Thief and willbender are so difficult to catch when they want to run. Or maybe every wb on my server is hacking because they can engage then zoom out of sight range within a couple seconds.

I don't think they are hacking, they are just very mobile and I hope anet adresses that in future balance patches and nerfes the cooldowns of those mobility skills, so that they can't run that easily all the time!

I can think of different goals of a roamer. One, take camps and survive or escape defenders. Two, spying for your zerg. Escaping matters. Three, winning duels. Not sure if duels is considered roaming. I guess you could go around picking off the stragglers trying to reach the zerg or who fall from the boon ball. I just don't know what roaming is to everyone else.

I agree, roaming has different definitions. For me, at least, in this video, I and the chat decided to look at how well a build does against enemy players while running solo, while also being able to win outnumbered situations. Fair duels are not really considered here. This is the most pure WvW solo experience I can imagine for most players who are just looking to engage with other players rather than score points per tick where more advanced tactics are likely to be used.

Oh.. Also Core Engineer can be really good in the right Hands. You can play a Condi or Power Build with a shitton of CC Spam into Moa etc... Rifle with the CC Spam Build and on Power i prefer Mace Shield. every third Toolkit Auto attack can hit for 6-8k and Pry Bar up to 10k, its super underrated. In my Opinion Core Engi is atleast C, maybe even B

@@SyrmaGaming first i tried Scrapper and took the build from "Prozap GW2" his Prybar Bunker Down Build, and then i made an free2play Version of it for the Core Engi and its nuts. And i rarely play Engi since the rifle nerf years ago! :D

for an average player core warior is pretty good because nobody expects you to storm in on a core warrior with hammer and spec yourself i to birst damage with quickness on cc, makes for some really nutty stunlocking and crazy burst damage if specced correctly (stun duration sigil + sogil of celerity for example). Not saying I'm a pro pvper but in real honestly but there's only ever been a few people that knew how to react to it properly and would end up being pretty beat up, making for a really fun gameplay, IMHO more fun than spellbreaker or berserker. Perhaps true pro players can exploit the weaknesses of that setup but idk, seems pretty strong to me.

The build I mentioned wouldn't do much against a cata because of too much stability but then for example if a harb isn't extremely careful it could literally devour it because the damage you can pull through stuns as a warrior is nuts. Pair this with quickness and holy shit xD

Former rev main here. I want a fresh experience so considering to make a new main. Which class can you recommend me to main for overall gameplay (OW, PvP, WvW?). I will invest bag slots & gear slots so want to pick one overall.

The best advice, you don't want to hear, is that you should play what you like as everything is playable in every gamemode right now. If you want my subjective opinion on the choice, I would not choose elementalist and engineer as they are really bad in PvP right now. I would rather go for anet's all time favorite, guardian. It's always good everywhere. Furthermore, ranger and mesmer are really solid choices as well, but that's just my opinion!

@@SyrmaGaming Ranger looks promising due to Pets can fill any missing boons depending to your needs. Not a fan of mirage pvp so i will skip mesmer. Willbender is good at wvw / pvp so another good option, i agree. Ty.

Warrior spear still makes 11 K crits... And no one plays condi reaper in Trailblazer gear...

Warrior spear lost its evade though, so you are much more vulnerable especially in outnumbered situations. Regarding condi reaper: yes, it has amazing tankiness and damage, but it lacks healing/resustain and most importantly it is highly immobile, so you are a snail. I think both of those things together make for a quite underwhelming roaming build.

@@SyrmaGaming playing warhorn and double sword with Speed relic and speed of shadows trait gives you so much mobility. With viper gear and SR/DM or SR/Curses build. You are not playing enough Necro, it more than D tier IMO. It's my main and you are good even against thieves with that CC and condis. I'm not the best player but I can outplay many classes with Reaper. Worst class to compete with is Willbender for me.

They nerfed spear though xD Na, jokes aside, I actually think Willbender is very good, but its worse than cata and harb for sure.
