I only watched Olympic for bolt and when they said when he ran we ran with him I got goosebumps.. Matthew Biggin that is also an amazingly extraordinary achievement. I named two people, but if we go across the sports world, we can find a few other extremely dominant figures. When thinking of Bolt’s dominance, achievements, stage of competition, and how his performances will hold up over a lengthy span of time, I thought, “Is there any other athlete paralleling him in any way...”. Lo Li Phelps had a great run in 2008 olympics winning 8 gold medals; That was special. I think it’s a great over all achievement. His records will last much longer than most, but all records fall (generally). I did some calculations looking at the WR from 1988 to the WR in I believe 2007 (I forget now) and if the WR had continued being broken at the pace it was, a 9.58 100m would not come until the year 2070 or so. Bolt is WAY ahead of his time, I'll be 80 in 2070 if I'm still alive so I'd say there is a 50~60% chance I see his 100m record broken in my lifetime.

@@richardgallimore5976 remember in 2008 when Bolt slowed down in the Olympics in China? 2009 in Germany he looked around? HE could have run 9.51 in both those races if he dipped at the end and ran hard all the way! Whatever happens Usain Bolt will always be remembered! Supreme talent!

Bolt is MORE than just "Statistics" though; he's larger than life personality is greatness personified. Ali has been surpassed statistically in boxing but he's STILL the greatest boxer to ever do it. Same with Bolt. His back to back to back Olympic gold medals in the 100+200 will never be equaled imho.
