I just bought E20 and I love the video quality and ease of use. It's so intuitive. Two problems I have run into: 1. The camera battery is 5000 mAH and after I have it fully charged, it only lasts for 8-10 minutes. 2. The ANR doesn't seem to work on mine. Not sure what the problem is. I am going to connect with Eufy on these two issues.

Amazing video, this camera is top of our list! Quick question: can eufy e21 connect using wifi 5.0GHz?
@DadLifePGH12 күн бұрын
@@harshphuloria Grest question! This baby cam works on a 2.4GHz network (as of now) and I think it’s a good choice given that it’s a baby cam. It’a pretty common for smart home devices because 2.4GHz offers better range, reliability, and is ideal for low-bandwidth traffic. It also avoids competing with high-bandwidth devices like TVs, laptops, and phones that are streaming high-definition content on 5GHz networks. Let me know if you have any other questions!

@@joshuadavis3188 thanks so much for the feedback! I don’t have any firsthand experience with smart socks. Personally, we haven’t needed them for both of our kids. @@anettdolog9060 hi, great question! The camera has modes for the LED on the front that you can set to turn off completely automatically at night or just off all the time so it won’t bother the baby! Would be interested to hear your advice @Dad Life. We will be having twins and I am currently looking into baby monitors, babies will be sleeping in the same room as us and I am leaning towards owlet dream socks, since it measures heart rate and blood oxygen and has built in alert system if something is not right, did you or any other dads you know had an experience with such a device? At first glance this monitor is not suitable for us as I said we will be sleeping in the same room.
@DadLifePGH19 күн бұрын
@@StasKulchitskiy First off, congratulations on having twins soon! That is certainly going to be a great adventure for you all. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the Owlet sock in terms of it’s value but given that you have two to care for, it may be a good thing to try out and see if it works for you! As for the baby cam, my thought is that although you may be sleeping with the children in the same room at night time, they will be sleeping/napping for most of the day for weeks/months and you’ll have to decide if one of the parents will *always* be in the room watching them as they nap. More than likely, a baby cam will be helpful to have setup while the babies are napping during the day so that you can be free to move around and if you get an alert from the Owlet, then you can quickly glance at the cam to see what’s going on. A nice feature with this cam is that it can work on-battery power if it’s not plugged in so if the babies are napping in another room temporarily, you can move the cam into that room so you can keep an eye on them as well. Then, if you decide to transition them to a separate room in the future, you can move the cam into that room. Hope this helps!

Great review. This is exactly what I am looking for. But, this appears to have digital zoom, not optical zoom. Optical zoom takes a moment to move the lenses, this was instant which means it is digital. Also, the product doesn't say optical zoom so it probably isn't.
@DadLifePGH13 күн бұрын
@@JPL_EE thank you! 🙏🏻 This may have been a function of the editing process. There was about a 1 second delay between the time I pressed the button and the camera moved. But this could also be attributed to the signal taking time to travel over WiFi to the camera to trigger the movement. Either way, the picture quality is really good at 4K resolution either it is digital or optical zoom IMHO. Best way to know is to check it out! Hope it works for you!

Can the camera be charged by USB instead of wall outlet? What is the range? I need a cam at night inside a vehicle because of break ins. 5 hours or so per days I can put a small solar battery w 110 in vehicle to run it or charge it but would rather use the USB instead the truck if the camera has a port?
@DadLifePGH18 күн бұрын
@@LKN4WAR that’s an interesting use case! I’m thinking that it should work. The there is a USB-C connection for power on the camera so as long as your solar battery is strong enough to charge the camera and it has a USB-C cable, it’s worth a shot. That being said, have you also considered a 2-way facing dash cam that you can also power via USB? This would allow you to get 2 camera angles and there is a dedicated parking mode feature specifically designed for your use case. Thoughts? amzn.to/40YzPjh
