Ya I’d put him at #1 personally. Eagle and Macbeth destroyed the competition and Eagle is out there throwing left and right handed, slaughtering the competition and removing all doubt that he’s done as a competitor. Incredible. I respect this list tho

There is exacly ONE shot I call "The Paul McBeth shot" it is a midrange (doesn't matter which company) thrown completely flat, no flip-up, no fade, it goes completely straight and never changes elevation and goes exactly 300 feet. It is the best shot in his arsenal.

Can't agree with Chris Dickerson. I'd say Paul's, Isaac's and Calvin's are better at least. Simon not being on the list is insane in my opinion. For years he's thrown md1's and putters on straight lines. He could shape anything with his pd. Throws flexes and rollers. He is the most talented backhand thrower in the game.

Totally agree, it makes no sense that Linus is here but Simon isn't. No disrespect to Linus, but we all know that Simon's backhand is top 5 in the world.

Simon is easily the best pure thrower of the disc we've ever seen, and he does it all backhand. Eagle won the greatest battle in Major history not throwing a single forehand (which you said is extra points). Give the crush boys the respect they deserve

I've heard that Dave Dunipace considers that Emerson Keith has the "purest" backhand form of current players. This is a tough subject, because there are so many great forms out there. Aaron Gossage has the angriest snap on his backhand, as you can hear it two zip codes away. Joel Freeman always looks impressive to me, and Silas Schultz looked awesome at Champions Cup. Maybe consider Eagle MacMahon (version 2) as a potent righty/lefty backhander as well.

Emerson did almost go long OB off the tee on a 650 foot hole, and he’s like 2 foot nothing (Jk I think he’s like 5’5” ish). If that’s not pure form i don’t know what it is

Respect to the channel and what you do but Conrad is #1 backhand and it’s not even close. Nothing to do with the holy shot and winning worlds being exclusively backhand…. He’s Just the most accurate backhand there is. Man has more tournament aces and chain outs than anyone on tour. If you had to pick 1 person to throw a backhand for you sub 450 ft. He’s the pick every time.

This is retrospective as I just watched pt 2 but letting it simmer…. Having Simon as a HM is insane. The guy has an entire genre of shots named after him, and they are all back hand. Now, he does throw a forehand, but honestly by the looks of it, I never trust it, but usually it’s very good anyway. Wild take, but Dickerson above Calvin is wilder.

Isaac Robinson has to be number one at the moment. There is no one on tour that can hit gaps like he can shot after shot. He might not have the longest throw on tour but accuracy is more important anyway

Bradley Williams has an exceptional backhand, definitely top 10. I know Isaac Robinson is relatively new and doesn’t have a ton of time on tour, but he has to have the best backhand on tour. Also what about seppo paju or cale leivisca? Also I think robot chicken is great, but the only reason Calvin hasn’t won 3 worlds already is because of putting. He doesn’t have the most shot shaping, but 4 feet off the ground 450 on a rope is pretty freaking incredible.

I think it's a pity Lizotte didn't make it, but I guess I understand why. Now, and this will be controversial, Eagle has one HELL of a backhand. I know he's been a sidearm guy in the past and still relies on it very often for miss and approaches, but his off the tee backhand is immaculate.

European open removes any controversy. The distance between eagle/Paul and the rest of the MPO removes controversy. He did it all backhand, left and right. I can’t hate on a different opinion tho. Great video

Yeah Chris should not be in the top 5. He is great, but his performances this year are poor and he forehands a fair amount. Isaac or Calvin has to be number one ATM.
