Awesome Vid! When the bass put on the feed bag there's very little you couldn't throw out there and catch fish with! But lipless cranks are tough to beat for sure! Here in Southern Wisconsin it'll be another six weeks at least until water hits 50 on a consistent basis. Bass season is also closed here until the new rules come into effect April 1st, which then we get to have a catch and release season until the first weekend in May.

I only found your channel a couple of months ago, Alex, which means I've been getting to binge-watch your older videos. Such a treat! You have a great knack for interesting, blather-free commentary, and your understated style of video editing is pitch-perfect. What a great day you had with those fat, healthy bass! I haven't caught anything on a lipless crank so far, but I find it's pretty fun just to chuck one out and feel it buzz while hauling it in. (Thanks for the tip about a 7.x:1 reel making that easier. That might go on my Christmas wish list...) I'd never even heard of white bass before seeing them in your videos. But Wikipedia tells me that their range extends as far north as Lake Erie, and I can't imagine that they wouldn't also find their way into Lake Ontario and the waters around it. I'll keep a look-out for them here in Toronto.

One hell of a day right there man. And that white bass to boot! Freaking hog. I’m going crazy man. It snowed a few inches here again today. Every time we get a little warmup, it follows with a snowy week dropping those water temps back into the 30’s. I’m about to go nuts if I can’t catch some fish. Even the pan fish are turned off. They look at my gulp and throw it out of the water back to me and tell me to take a walk. Lol. It’s been rough! Anyway - awesome new reel did great for u. Congrats man.

Had my best day Bass fishing yesterday, only been trying FW the last 2 years. Got 7 LMB on a Gill colored chatterbait with a green pumkin black flake Zako Trailer in about 2 hours. They weren't monsters 1-1 1/2lb but its always fun catching a bunch of them on 1 lure.
