The baf is from future's end, a postapocalyptic alternate timeline in which brother eye transforms every superhero into robots, and he fuses batman and joker together so in story you never see a batman only head

the holes in the wings are for the gauntlet pegs so they can attach. the two pack nightwing/hood has been up on amazon for a while. red hood is exceptional, but i prefer my nightwings blue

Mcfarlane really could get in more articulation without sacrificing the sculpt. They could manipulate some parts to a point where they always have plenty of room for say the upper thighs to rotate. If Mcfarlane wants people to pose how he wants then he needs to just make statues. Otherwise the customer will push a figure as far as they can and jump ship if someone offers more. Then it's the accessories. Alter heads and gear. All of that should just be in one package. It would seriously enhance the presentation/value of these figures.

Shartimus prime went back and forth with Mcfarlane on articulation for his figures, but with your and a lot of us collectors wanting tons of articulation and the ever evolving process of other toy companies, his hands were forced. He's been more about very intricate details for his figures. He's gotten a lot better i.e. Spawn kickstarter figures. Great review dude

Can't remember which video reviewer, but one mentioned that the wings can be removed with some effort (hot water/ hair dryer). Still personally I don't recommend doing it though.

Not bad, but as usual McFarlane figures always lose out on the articulation, they’re great if you just want them to stand there, but if you want to do anything remotely cool it’s either really hard or just turns out looking bad. I just don’t get why they put out these great looking figures with articulation from 2005? Really turns me and many other people off getting these. At least they’re finally doing double jointed elbows and knees though, still 10 years or more behind though.

It's because Todd cares more about sculpt than Articulation. He doesn't want to sacrifice sculpt in order to have better articulation. With having limited articulation he can still maintain the sculpt while retaining some articulation.

@amostlynottoxic dude I meant Todd. Auto correct adjusted to Tom. Like I already said, Todd cares more about sculpt than articulation. I doubt he really cares if the cuts in the torso work properly or not. He's more concerned with how the figure looks aesthetically than how well it articulates.

There are some misses in the articulation here and there like a hip swivel and forward ab crunch, but calling it 10 years behind is really a stretch. Most of the articulation here is somewhat on par with regular Marvel Legends. And the head joints stand out as even better as it is superbly done.
