Great place to live if you pick Thailand the place is perfect this place is now on the map great roads local airport 1 hour flight from Bangkok prefect 3km beach, , food sea it's all good I know this beach well

As soon as I saw the title and the area I knew it was near Chumphon....so many people just onto off the bus and onto the ferry or vice versa and miss the gem there. Beautiful, quiet, clean all year round, even during high season.

The Thai Sun Screen is very good. I used it for 3 years no problem. I wear a light long sleeve tee shirt when snorkelling. a tip from an aussie run diving company.

The old ice in your beer trick, Only in Thailand. Was forced to try it in Petchabun a couple of years back as the stubbies were not even kept in the fridge. I dont mind but not necessary back here in Oz

“ Update 24/11/23 “ I’m reliving this video - Obviously it’s now post pandemic times - the hotel is the same , just older 😂 . Note to all - The yellow Baht Bus doesn’t stop outside the hotel anymore - you will be directed to where the pick up point is around the corner . The beach was perfect , just an overcast day - it was very quiet , hotels along beach , quiet - Anyone who has questions , I can try and answer - pls leave comment - DF rules 👌👍😎👋🙏

I know exactly what you mean DF . Was in Tung wua laen a couple weeks ago before going to Koh Tao. Stayed at Baan Talay which is a hotel right across the beach. Amazing view of the water. It was just as dead too on the beach but by sundown all the thais come out. Next time I gotta try that club sandwich you raved about!

the regular rooms (not facing the beach) are around 800 baht i think but we paid around 1400 a night for the seaview room with a massive balcony. Rooms are huge too.
