Great list Omar as always. I have alot to say: Hafez 1984/Carlise- I am working my way through this DNA. I have a sample of Triumph of Bachus and Carlisle, i like both. I have to try the Red Tobaccos, and will make a decision. Im concerned about what I hear about Carlisle reformulations. I would hate to get a weak batch at that pricepoint. Interlude Black Iris- Amazing, I would love a bottle, but its so unique. i dont know how often i can wear this. I think this works if you plan to be well dressed in a room when you want to impose your will. Like a business meeting that ends with a champagne toast if it goes right.

@decade10hl The Triumph of Bacchus comparisons are accurate and they are similar with TOB being significantly louder if not sweeter because of the white peach note. Where I struggle is deciding whether this DNA needs to be louder/sweeter. I think before I commit to such an expensive purchase I will need to try the whole range of this DNA, so it may be a next winter decision.

I love this time of year to bring out the power house fragrances! Love Hafez 1984 (and I always thank you for turning me on to it!), Black Iris is amazing. I also love Kredo from Nishane and Nishane's Pachuli Kozha, which is incredibly delicious!

I got Jaipur Homme by Boucheron and it feels great in cold weather. It's spicy and warm, give it a try if you're looking for something new, guys. Can't guarantee everyone will like it, but it's definitely interesting.

I wore Carlisle today. It really is the best and most creative PdM fragrance in my opinion, but that bottle is way too big. That's why I only have a small sample size. Not sure how anyone would ever empty a full 125 ml bottle of this. I prefer the Tony Iommi Monkey Special over Deified. Deified smells like a simplified version of Penhaligon's Halfeti in my opinion. I prefer Halfeti and I love Halfeti Leather. Halfeti Leather is also a great beast mode winter fragrance, but it's definitely more polarizing.

Wearing the same scent every day can also cause nose fatigue to people around you all the time . Just do what you love. I love to switch every day and keep them guessing how I will smell the next day

I tried carlisle on skin since so many people swear by it. It smelled strongly of molded cheese to me. I think it’s the pachouli which is something that’s unfamiliar to me. Is it supposed to be like that or is it just my skin?
