- 1/2 Bell Pepper, Chopped
- 1 Small Onion, Chopped
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tsp Adobo Seasoning (Optional)
- 1 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Seasoned Salt
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1/3 Cup All Purpose Flour
- Canola Oil for Frying
- 2 Sprigs of Thyme
- 32oz Container of Beef Broth or Stock ( Substitute for water if necessary)
- 1 Tsp Browning Seasoning ( Optional)
- Parsley for Garnish
- Serve over White Rice, Noodles, or Mashed Potatoes

I made this last night for dinner, but changed the quantities for 3 lbs of stew meat. Had for lunch again today, and just made 2 plates for dinner. This is so good over mashed potatoes, or rice. My gravy didn’t turn out that thick, probably could have used more flour, but I drank it to the last drop, soaked up good in Texas toast. So good, thanks for sharing this recipe!

I was doing so well. I put the pot on simmer and had it half covered. I walked away for about for 5 minutes and my food burned. 😪My heart is so hurt. I ate it tho. The gravy was a nice consistency but it had that burnt taste to it..so I didn't subject my family to my mistake. Everyone, when she says stir..she means it! I love your channel and receipes. Hey Alycia hunny! I'm sorry that happened! The flour helps it to thicken pretty quickly so you have to definitely keep an eye out! Next, you can always add water or more broth to thin out the gravy if it is cooking too fast, and also like you said, make sure you stir to move it around to prevent it from sticking and burning!
