Your recipe is delicious! I made it tonight for dinner and loved it. I blended up french fried onions and used that in place of the bread crumbs and onion mix . The meat came out super tender and flavorful. 10 out of 10 meal!

Beautiful dinner! The best way to eat hamburger, brings back childhood memories, not sure I could get the kids to eat that kind of a meal today, they are all too allergic to everything. They also used to serve that in my elementary school. You truly made that meal look so good I'm hungry now!

I made your hamburger steak and onion gravy and it was delicious! My husband had a huge plate of hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, onion/mushroom gravy, and broccoli. I love me some hamburger steak and mashed potatoes and have cooked it in a very similar way, but, for some unknown reason I never thought about adding mushrooms--and I LOVE mushrooms, so I followed your recipe and DANG, it turned out "slap yo GRAMMA good"! TY for sharing with us! OH, and the Onion Soup mix DID add that extra slap that brought me up to grandma instead of mom!
