Great explanation of a beautiful Bible! I purchased one of church Bible publishers milk chocolate water Buffalo leather full yapp tcr and man is it beautiful! While I do think the new addition is cleaner, I do prefer the kirkbride tcr and all their features better. God bless you and your ministry!

I love the Thompson Chain Reference bible. But there's one thing that would make it even better and that is a reverse chain reference as well as their traditional forward reference. Imagine opening the bible to any passage and there beside the verse is a reference to the next location in the chain as well as the previous location in the chain - all without having to flip to the back of the bible.

I have and enjoy the Westminster Reference Bible. In fact, I have a video review on that one as well. I just enjoy the Thompson Chain more because of the layout and added features. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!

I have a 4th edition Thompson from Kirkbride and do reference it occasionally. What I never understood is if a verse is part of a topic enough to have it listed, why isn't it just in the chain (the black vs red passages)? That always confused me...along with the randomness of them reprinting some of the chain verses in full in the back for immediate reading but it didn't seem to follow any pattern for when they would print the whole verse versus just the reference. Am I missing something?

In the 1908 version, Dr. Thompson sair that the passages in the back (red ones) are so clear, that you won't need some interpretative bias to understand it.
