2 reasons why the mushroom island is the worst biome to live in 1. You are tempted to eat mushroom stew, which is a terrible food for inventory space... Just get tons of golden carrots using a carrot+Gold Farm or just a villager hall + OP raid farm 2. Mobs can't spawn, meaning you will need to build all mob based farms outside of the Island, and also can't get any mobs for stuff like villager hall zombifiers or iron farms... (It's also just pretty small and always surrounded by ocean)

I've always enjoyed the Mesa, especially the one with the huge spires, I always made bridges out to them and used them as points to move around the canyons that would form, it is a very fun building style that I don't see very often, I wish I could see more buildings based of of the old clay and wood buildings that the native American Pueblos used, just my take though.

There are a few seeds in the bedrock edition that spawn you on/near a mushroom biome, it's not the best deal tho, because you'll most likely spawn on an island with one or two trees on it, and if you're lucky then the island will be near a shipwreck or on an island with more than 3 trees on it

Hostile mobs can spawn outside and go inside the biome, that happened to me a lot.

@@iplayminecraft9252 If you need XP, then you can kill literally any passive mob. There are literally some people who kill wolves for it. This is actually the best biome to live in, but not the best biome to rely on for literally your entire world. All you need is one bowl to get infinite food.

Fun fact: if you replace all the mycelium with normal grass in a mushroom island biome, the grass will be a lush green

I would add, that hot and cold biomes don't have storms and rain, is which stops you from being blinded by it
