first off i wanna thank you for all you do. the knowledge you drop is crucial and appreciate. with that said, let me be real with you. im learning from the ground up. so its fail for me atm but im not giving up. i see potential here. my question for you is.. when you started way back then, what where your biggest hurdles with startup and some of your bigest fails that almost made you quit the hustle if any applies here?
@BigBrandoh Жыл бұрын
knowing who my target audience is. didnt know that when i first started and struggled to get a sell. Once i knew who i wanted to sell too, life was good. thats why i stress "Knowing your target audience" in almost every video. know your audience make your life easier

Great video . Thanks for all the help . Very humble. I'm starting my brand . I'm in Riverside CA . So it's a 50 /50 when it comes to blanks . No mater what u get ur going to have a crowd that don't and do like the shirts . U can't please everyone. Just come out with good designs.
@BigBrandoh Жыл бұрын
i agree. i cater to those that like my designs and blanks i use. i really dont worry about the ones that dont like my blanks. im not in the business to convince a non customer. im in the business to service returning customers.

This guy was right, went to main street here in LA today spent $600 for 50 pieces hoodies for my embroidery business. Quality was like proclub (costs about $35 per hoodie) 😮💨

Thank you Brandoh! QUESTION: up here in Canada AS and proclub re not options due to shipping / duty etc. and alstyle is becoming a ghost.... Next Level 3600 and 6210 is still an option as is Bella 3001..also Gildan 64000 but not ideal for my customers. Would you choose next level or Bella or something else? THANK YOU!!
@BigBrandoh Жыл бұрын
not sure. i would go with the blank that fits your budget and the one your customers like. i cant make that call cuz i dont know who your target audience is and i dont know what you wanna offer

What's your opinion on 220gsm 100% cotton blanks? Is it too thick?
@YoLastFilms Жыл бұрын
Hey brandoh hope you’re able to respond to this either in video format or even here would be awesome… I don’t think I’ve seen it asked on your channel but those of us who are looking into selling our own personal brand of embroidered hats How are we able to achieve putting our own branding on the seams of the inside of the crown similar to how we see New Era puts the 59FIFTY along the seams in the crown?
@BigBrandoh Жыл бұрын
thats part of the hat construction. When you get hats fully constructed you can customize the taping on the inside. You would have to look into a manufacturer that will let you fully construct a hat top to bottom and request custom taping.

My target audience seems to like the standard fit that has a soft cotton feel and is lightweight or midweight but I’ve been having trouble finding a blank to match that. Any recommendations bro ?
@BigBrandoh Жыл бұрын
i never source that kind of t shirt so i wouldnt know what blank to recommend. my guess is any blank that is ringspun cotton would work. sounds like what you are describing. as far as fit, you gotta just order a bunch of different ringspun shirts and start testing them out

I just had to return all my items on a multimillion dollar street brand for using poor quality shirts and hoodie. Marketing and design was on point, but horrible quality.
