Kevin, all of your videos are marvelous! I am learning so much from your cooking videos. I love “tea time” as we say in the Southern Appalachians in TN. We have had tea time most every day at 3-4 pm in the afternoon, not always formal. If traveling or away from home, we stop to have at least some sort of respite, even a cocktail if the day calls for one! Blessings to you & Mr. Fox🌼

Will try this one as it's less fiddly than my version of a teatime treat made with the same combination of ingredients. My version is to make individual butterfly cakes of lemon sponge; when baked in paper cases, cool then scoop out circle of sponge from the top, fill the cavity with lemon buttercream, halve the scooped out circles, stick the halves up in the cream in the style of butterfly wings and decorate with blueberries. Pretty but labour intensive! It is so good to see the table laid in the traditional manner with all the appropriate accoutrements. I hate to nitpick but, undeniably charming as it is, your tablecloth somehow detracts from the very pretty porcelain, I would love to see one of the white embroidered tablecloths, some with open work and insets as well as deep borders of decorative crochet work, as made for their "bottom drawer" by my mother and her sisters, prior to marriage, on the table. In the UK these can often be found in charity shops and other outlets, such as car boot sales. In the USA, read trunk for boot. These are sales held in a field or enclosure hired for the occasion, very often on a Sunday, and goods displayed around the vehicle. With all good wishes and please keep finding user friendly recipes for your supporters, who, like you, like to maintain a certain standard of simple propriety in their homes, without making a song and dance about it! These cloths have inevitably fallen out of fashion because people have do many calls upon their time and of course they do require starching and who does that nowadays?!!
