Well, Cthulhu wasn’t implemented into the game. It’s more lore than anything. So I don’t count it as a boss.

Honestly I’d argue against the pickaxe power argument for the shroomnite digging claws, since you literally almost never have to kine through the jungle temple

Yeah, I was thinking about that and almost changed it as I was making it. Its either power+range, or speed. The Digging claw is faster at digging most blocks. But I mean, base building wise, end game pickaxes are better for range and pickaxe power. It really just depends on what you're aiming for. Edit: If it were faster at digging, the laser drill would honestly be superior for its range/accuracy.

are these ranked on enjoyment or just how useful they are? because me personally i really dislike the moonlord as a final boss and the twins are my favorite fight in the game and they are noticeably absent from the list.

The bosses are ranked on their significance in the game and partially how fun they are. I avoided bosses like mech bosses and lunar pillars, similarly to brain of cthulhu and eater of worlds which are alternates of each other. Mech bosses are different from each other more, but I kept them in that same category.(not to say that the twins aren’t fun)

Im aware, its just to light up the area mainly for the vid(although still providing the buff). Also Im using mods to easily prep everything so wood isn’t relevant in my case.

The eye is required for progression, as you cannot craft molten gear without defeating him. So if you like hardmode ores, than he is required.

Hmm …You can defeat the corruption/crimson bosses before that. Which means you can craft the pickaxe required to mine hellstone. I checked the wiki for needing EOC for progression on these items, not there. I haven’t tried it myself, but I don’t think your right on that. EDIT: additionally, the wiki states that EOC is irrelevant for progression.
