Now you've been to Benidorm once, you'll be back over again and again. It's a special place for people who know what it really is. I've been going every year since I was a baby, now im 29 and it's still my favourite holiday. When I tell people where I'm going, allot of people are judgmental and think it's just just the English strip or "zona guirri" as the locals call it (English zone). At this point I'm kind of glad some people think that, because Benidorm is already so busy with people who love it. If everyone knew how good it actually was....I can't imagine how many people would go. My favourite things to eat when I go are, Paella, Small fried fish spanish style (calamari, adobo, boquerones) Trying Menus of the day at different local restaurants...for around €11 you can get a 3 course meal great quality, definitely check those out!!

We have two hols booked this year there. Anyone who slags it off like I used to....Don't knock it till you try it is my advice. Two sides to it, best of both worlds. Give it a go!!!

When we were over there we had the steak pie with homemade chips with mushrooms and it was absolutely delicious 😋 we couldn't finish it all tho so we go out to benidorm again and we love the food 😋 I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a lovely meal and after the meal we had a lovely walk to see the view of it all its so beautiful 😍 ❤xxxx

@@howiseeit5129 in city centre there are quite a few tapas places (Calle de Santo Domingo, Calle José Martínez Oriola, and la Plaza de la Constitución). It is quite unique because most of them are owned by by people who moved to Benidorm from the Basque Country. These are some of the names that I remember: La Cava Aragonesa, la sidrería Aurrera, Tragantúa, la Txapela and El Gazteluxo. If you are looking to try paella and/or mussels pay a visit to La mejilloneria, you can book online. Hope that helps

Our fav bar in The ‘Dorm. But it’s famous more for the jugs of sangria I think? It’s delicious and strong. Gets you right..!! Had food a few times and yes it’s delicious. Also in summer they do have a/c and it’s nice and cool downstairs. Brilliant. Tommy sauce and vinegar on a dinner is a no tho’

We've been to Beni many times but always in self-catering apartments so not often used restaurants (apart from tapas bars!) but that Sherry's seems amazing. Going end of Jan '23 in a hotel so may give that pie a try! Cheers!

Don’t make it too mini…. 3/4 nights are more expensive than weeks sometimes. Just check that out. Also, ask about transfers- he sat on the coach for 2hours- it’s actually only 45mins to the city. If your one of the last drop offs, I’d consider doing a private one- or getting out at the 1st stop and grabbing a taxi- nowhere is more than 10mins away once your in town. Save that round and about coach trip.
