Hi Yvette...there seems to be an interchanging now between high tea and afternoon tea. Growing up high tea referred to the meal my grandad had at 5pm ish (main meal of the day and definitely not afternoon tea).

'M' for Morris Dancing made me laugh. Reminds me of the Paul Hogan advert for Foster's lager. I thought you were going to say 'M' for music.....good to see you smiling and enjoying the Briish summer weather, Yvette.

What a load of nonsense to say traditional British food doesn't have vegetables.

My favourite British thing beginning with I is Indian restaurants 😋 (Apologies, but I’m sure it’s VIII for Henry the 8th)

@@silverwolf3745 Haha indeed! Someone doesn't know their Roman numerals. But then why should she, Australia didn't experience the tender mercies of The Roman Occupation.

"Traditional British food does not have vegetables". Really? You sure about that? In my humble opinion, that is nonsense!

Agree with most of your list. Morris dancing is an embarrassment. The best B is beer!

The nam e Taylor is not scottish. It is derived from the Old French 'tailleur' (cutter of cloth) and came to England with the Normans.

I think Jimmy Carr is the most unfunny comedian I've ever heard. Granted, I've only seen highlights of his stand up shows, but since they're supposed to be "highlights" I can't say I've smiled or laughed once.
