Cool video. I have the VL150 and the VL300. The VL200, imo, seemed to be in a weird category (not much more powerful than the 150), plus the added bulk of the larger battery bank. The VL150 is awesome because of its small size, and the VL300 because of its power.

@davidpossein Actually yeah! Now that you said that, that makes so much sense! I actually bought it before i got the 150 because it was on sale for less than the 150 at the time! Otherwise i would have gotten the 150 and then the 300

hi ben! great video. do you know how i can emulate daylight with the godox vl150? its always on 5600K so it's pretty "white".

I would recommend getting an aputure softbox that will allow you to use a light gel! You can put a warm CTO gel in that and it will warm up your light for daylight for sure! 🙌

Personally i like both but i prefer the vl150! I just think its much more capable, comes with a bag, and is built with better materials! :)

Do you need a special adapter to mount the aputure light dome?

You don't actually! It is a Bowens mount light so the aputure light dome will fit perfectly! 😄

@@exoticcarlife2904 The lantern is probably one of my favorite modifiers for all around situations! But you can also get just the normal size light dome II from Aputure!
