I had to follow you from the appearance in the “Paint Society” video. Once again, amazing results and I bought the Euro Pro HE. Please let everyone know to throw away the plastic screen in the guns kit inside the plastic. To me, have a good stand, mixed your product to manufactures specs for induction time. This is a chemical hand-shake to mix and affects the rate of at which the paint cures. People need to know that paints evaporate certain solvents while the resins, binders and solids joint together and technically form one large molecule. So with the proper ratio, correct urethane reducer for shop/metal temp affects how it sprays and lays down. You should almost use a stop watch and start at the same location each pass for coats. This avoids solvent popping and a good sealer (I like epoxy sealer mixed to seal over filler and factory paint) This creates that barrier for a better match and long life as most cars sit in the sun at work and many at home. Notice how garage noise taped of the bottom of rocker panel to the shop floor. What under the rocker, frame and floor, who knows. That’s the point! This is how garage noise keep dirt out of a collision paint repair without shop fans. Like, subscribe and hit the bell. I did! ASE Master Tech since 1978.

At this price point, still my favorite gun. More air than the R500 which is more diy friendly, but if you have a decent sized compressor, this is my pick. Super smooth action. Very light in the hand. Nice finish. Straight forward design without a bunch of plastic seals. Should use it in your videos more often

@@GarageNoise Does the all plastic parts really compare to a quality cnc machined gun? Most of the positives i've heard revolve around saved time at clean up. Fresh caps every time. Ect. But that means a cycle of purchases for the life of the gun. Think I will just keep cleaning my guns for now. Still interested in trying the Euro pros tho. Have you ever tried the green version? I see the cfm is only 9-10 on that gun and says it can spray at 10 pounds. Review guy said 23 pounds off the gun. If it can spray at those settings, overspray should be reduced. That is an important factor for me spraying in a one car bay 😷

I don't feel like it's a hvlp. 11.5-13.5 is on the low end for a full size paint gun. It depends on how small a compressor your using and what your painting. A portable 30 gallon is your just doing one panel your probably ok but if you want to do a complete you will be starved for air.

I have a 26 gallon compressor. I purchased an Eastwood CC500 with a 1.3 tip. I found out is way too much spray gun for that little compressor. Atomization is horrible. Switched to a Black Widow with a 1.7 tip because that is all I had. The Black Widow did a much better job. I hear that a LVLP gun is the way to go but the EVOT 13 1.3 is not available, only the EVOT 14 1.4 is available. I was about to order the gun when I saw in the questions section at Amazon where many users said that this is not an LVLP gun but an HVLP gun. In your video you mention that the compressor requirements are lower for the gun you were using. My question is will I be able to get a decent paint job using the EVOT 14. When I used the CC500 I spent a lot of time doing paint correction just to get a good result. Not really wanting to do that. When I took an auto body class at city college I painted several cars and had so little orange peel that I didn't have to cut and polish. So even as a novice I know I can do it, but I also don't have the huge compressor that the school had. Any pointers would greatly help. Thanks in advance.
@GarageNoise
@GarageNoise 3 жыл бұрын
What you want to look for is a gun that sprays with low cfm's. The evot needs 11-13 cfm's to spray efficiently. I don't think your compressor will produce that. Now it may work if you turned the volume down on the gun but it may then be too slow for you. I don't know what your spraying but if your doing one to two panels at a time a mini gun may be the ticket. If your doing overall paint job you wouldn't want to to go with that. Sounds like you compressor would spray this gun fine but only for a short period of time then the gun would starve for air and the compressor would need to catch up. Hope this helps thanks for watching

I’m needing a clear gun for guitar builds. Think this will serve my needs on nitro?
@GarageNoise
@GarageNoise 3 жыл бұрын
Yes, absolutely but have you thought about possibly using a mini gun they make a smaller version of this gun that will have less air consumption, if that's even a concern.

@@GarageNoise thought about it but don’t know to much about them. Was looking at the Iwata lph80. High quality brand for not a crazy price. I liked your video. I got the Astro 1.4 today like the one in the video. Been using a earlex 6003 hvlp turbine system. To much orange for me. But could be my lack of skills. Got a smaller needle to try out.

Slightly as far as finish, but the a610 has other benefits, low air consumption, low overspray, and material savings. So really depends on what your looking for.

Is a 30 gal 5 hp compressor good enough to paint an entire car with one of these?
@GarageNoise
@GarageNoise Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately you'll have some fluctuations in air pressure with that compressor and this gun but I have a solution for you! Check out my channel I have a video on a lvlp paint gun that's inexpensive and can be use with a small compressor to paint you whole car because it only use 3.5 cfm's.

hello my friend and sorry for the friend look I have a manager. and garlic and paint but no matter how much I give him advice, he doesn't accept advice until I really see him as good but he doesn't paint well. he doesn't regulate the spray and it looks like garbage. work from him to us. he tells us we don't clean. good. but twice it gets cleaned up. and that job is still horrible. I think it may be because Micha doesn't move the paint or move the paint before each job because when he's already dried all the work he did, I walk him back and paint balls come out. as if the paint were still fresh. you could guide me what can be. make this job of this man horrible and fix him. the way he paints he is already a man of advanced age. and you know they are very reckless and he has a beggar character
