Second item dragon spear is kinda weird.Windtalker and Claws are basically made for early game crit builders.Windtalker as second item is better for attack and movement speed.Just because you are not purchasing boots doesn't mean you don't need movement speed. Dragon spear is better for late when marksman and mages get insane movement speed and escaping capabilities that you relaibly need to chase them down. That's when chasing becomes important for dragon spear to work. You also need that %20 crit rate for relaible ult passive cycles during late game.

Problem is argus has very low base damage so buying items that give no damage feels bad but in the end you should play whatever feels best to you

The combat of Moba games as a whole feels too sluggish and boring (aka slower/lower basic attack and too long skill cooldown) compared to other games mostly like Wuthering Waves (WuWa)...I mean this gacha game (despite in gacha gaming genre) had similar skill sets like basic attacks and 4 skills [Resonator Skill, Forte Circuit, Intro Skill (with its tandem Outro Skill that feels like a passive but triggers every Intro Skill), and Ultimate aka Resonator Liberation] yet WuWa had better action combat with similar skill set than the likes of all Moba games So in case your defeat in Moba genre feels worse than other combat games, that's mostly because this genre's combat itself is (sadly) worse (aka slower/lower basic attack and too long skill cooldown like I said) plus due to its heavy reliance on teammates as part of the strategy (and sadly strategy in Moba is pointless thanks to nature of ally toxicity) instead of action. Also why action is more important than strategy (at least for me)? Like I said, Strategy is one good thing but became pointless with bad teammates and their toxicity, that's why Action is the last but great point on great combat specially if you want to win by carrying these bad teammates with all your great solo action skills alone (which modern multiplayer gaming, specially like both Moba genres and Overwatch 2 really sucked at, since they force us to rely heavily on teammates instead of our own solo skills; and without our own solo skill, so does our contribution to our teams in the 1st place) which makes you feel rewarding be it win or lose as well as the combat of the Moba was supposed to be that good. And I found all the potential of Moba's combat specially with that good skill set design/format alone (basic attack, passive, and 3-4 skills), which is such a shame because the only 1st and last Moba game that nailed the combat (despite its semi-action instead of action) is Gigantic (thank god it's revived in Rampage Edition) which feels more enjoyable thanks to its combat alone that stood its time. Not unlike (almost) all Moba games like Dota 2, Smite, League of Legends, Honor of Kings, Jump Assemble, and of course Mobile Legends (I exclude Heroes of the Storm because its way more fun despite its same worse combat) still having worse combat designs (aka slower/lower basic attack and longer skill cooldown like I said)

Nice games & build! I usually prefer to go with Corrosion Scythe, Windtalker, and Haas Claws for early game convenience; Corrosion for self defense & slow effect, Windtalker for farming (I usually play Argus very patiently until mid to late game), and Haas Claws so I don't need to go back to base as often. After that I build any of the items you've shown in the order that I see more convenient for the match:) And for the emblems, I agree in everything, but I like to experiment them by myself regardless Thanks for the video!

Hot Takes: New Argus with no boots in early is pretty much useless, after they butchered his second skill that gives movement speed when chasing the enemies trail is making him kinda hard to go with no boots. I usually go with no boots if the enemies doesn't have much escape/blink skill since it's easier to catch them or tanky enemies since you need to buy GDS and MR as fast as possible

I think if you go with sea halberd as first ítem, the ideal thing is that you use mm emblem due to higher attack speed to make up for the lack of attack speed sea halberd gives, and with inspire it would be like having a scythe with assasin emblem and inspire, otherwise, and double that with weakness seeker to give more slow, it would be needed since you dont have scythe to give slow with basic attacks on early

Fatal talent is really good at late game, but personally i prefer rupture for the early now. Enemy xp is almost always tanky, so the penetration is fulfilled plus passive. So even with low base damage, at least he can burst a little bit.

Tip 1:Try buying the 320 gold small item (idk what its called,but its purple 💀),which gives you 8% crit rate,with the fatal (1st tier marksmen emhlem),it rounds up to 13% crit rate,it might be handy or even make demonic slash crit and deal big dmg Tip 2 : if the enemies movement speed is slow and doesn't have any cc ability (or) if your snowballing and killing enemies left and right in the early game,try building berserker's fury,it gives 40% extra crit dmg(which rounds up to 50% extra crit dmg with fatal) and 25% Crit rate (30% crit rate in total) Try engaging in team fights more often, because split pushing is not as effective and as fast as before,try buying items that gives dmg and attack speed as soon as possible(but if its in higher rank like Glory or Immortal,long duration games are very usual which gives argus time to farm longer)

I see a no boot build useless As I reached glory rank before by playing only and only argus and the fact is I was playing solo before Showed me that boots are the most useful item ever it helps me a lot by helping me destroy other lanes turrets and helping in team fights when needed and catch that Lil mm on a 5v1 and not just boots but I also use great dragon spear so annoying heros like gusion won't escape and still has enough damage to burst a full hp build yu zhong in 2 seconds

The order i like to buy items for argus is Windtalker Corrosion Dragon spear Haas Claws Berserker Fury Hunter Strike/Malefic/Sea Hel Sometimes i build Sea Helberd first when against someone with lots of lifesteal or heals, then go in that order of items.

Buff that argus needs: Base defense 21>25 Late game 78>90 ( will help argus survive in crit moments rather then getting one shot) Revert 2nd skill and trial cruse speed Passive Total physical attack 80℅>100% Extra passive should activate on non hero unit ( increases farming ability normally ) Ult 60>50 , 50>45, 45>40 secs Ult optimization 1.Remove delay animation 2.Ult should have 2nd click phase to activate immortality, 3.If the 2nd phase is not clicked then 2nd phase should activate automatically by fatal damage ( this make ult more flexible in team fights ) give this feedback as new patch suggestion I got replied by moonton They will share this buffs to their team and will take action. The reply was in too detail. But still I want you guys to do the same thing including zayedhero which will help argus players 🫡🫡🫡
