The last couple of minutes is why I love Swain. Somehow even after the items became a linear build path, he can go pretty much anything between all the mage items and tank items. Build diversity. Every game feels like you're playing a slightly different champ and he never becomes boring to me

I really like how Unending Despair fits into that build. My current build usually looks like this: Torch > Swift boots > Cosmic > Riftmaker > Despair > Spirit Visage With so much heal and MS you are LEGIT unkillable

Honestly with the stabilizing WR (I'm seeing around 49%) the buffs next patch will probably get him exactly where he oughta be- Great vid as always! Nice to watch after driving to a hotel. It also took me a minute to realize that was Elise Support, not Jungle. Absolutely cracked plays on her part!

I play him top and am finding rift second a bit better. Edit: also green tree with grasp makes suriving/pressuring your opponent quite a bit easier + can actually be a sidelane threat due to demolish.

I build heartsteel into unending/visage for heavy ad/ap. Remaining items also tank (fimbul, jaksho, zhonya, FoN, randuin situationally). The new hp scaling with ult healing finally made tank swain viable

im excited to try this, i'm not having fun at all with swains conq build simply because the sustain doesn't out-weight the immense amount of damage that's heavy rn, with khazix, nocturne, and talon being so common in my elo. ill try this out instead

Thx for video amazing content. I have few questions. 1. Why not Ryal after Cosmic or usually you dont prefer that slow? 2. Conqer rune into mele match or when u use it? does it heal low or its amazing with ult? When to use phase rush and when conq? 3. Hardest match so i can ban it?

1. too many item slots used, takes too long to get either dmg (liandry/riftmaker) or too long to get actualy tankiness (resistences) 2. I take aery against people i can poke out with Q and conq into everything else 3. Cassipeia is hardest but nobody really plays, i ban leblanc or syndra right now

This build is meant to snowball, it has the stats for that specifically, if you do not have the intention to snowball then I would recommend simply going Rylais and providing utility

Do you still go this build when behind? The main issue I have with it as a low elo main is that 6000 gold for my core build tends to be a lot and when behind I sometimes barely get to complete one item while the other teams it's finishing their second. Obviously it's a skill issue, but just curious if you think going something like BFT >>> Ryleis to save some gold might be better on lower elos

Thats the drawback of building tanky :p if you really want tank i would go double mana runes into rylais rush, then situational tank items after like frozen, abyssal, FON, Jaksho Etc..

Since the rework, Swain is no longer a Rylai’s NPC - so much so that even support role is having great success with this build, especially against matchups that have a lot of slows (Ashe, Jhin, Pyke)
