Just a quick tip. U may already know this but ur child weakens targets so the undermining fragment is not totally necessary if u want to free up 20 discipline. Peraonally, i play blink on voidlock. People arent used to dealing with it because its so underutilized. Astrocyte verse on nova warp is crazy. Unlimted dark blink is very satisfying.

Recovery is the most important stat on every character. I see so many people invest in resilience and discipline but running tier 3 or 4 recovery, that’s so crazy to me.

such a shame that warlocks haven't gotten any meaningful exotics for such a long time that even though its been so long, ophidians and transverses make up over half of warlocks builds in trials (checked this most recent weekend: 65% of warlocks use either ophids or transverses). would love to be able to make some builds that will compete in this meta, that don't just revolve around moving fast or having better handling. the newest child of the old gods exotic had potential but its benefits only become meaningful after a kill with it...

I think the other classes are in the same boat with hunter exotic usage being stompees and spine and titans being dunes and anteus. The recent exotics do feel extremely niche to kinda cool but nothing really worth running which is really unfortunate. Lets hope we see some spicy armor in the future

@@DM-yu5qb have to admit I do quite like the c facade strand hunter helmet exotic for woven mail but considering how easy this game is to hit headshots it doesn't do much unless you're against auto firing weapons like autos/smgs or sidearms. Still doesn't compete with stompees tho, hunter just feels like moving in syrup without them lol

Neutral game is more important than niche exotics that buffs grenades or buff niche things that force you to build into those things movement speed has a higher skill gap for this game that’s why the movement exotics will never go away for top pvp players they wanna move fast not like a turtle

This is an excellent video, and what I have needed in my life. I’m new to PC gaming and I have always done crucible, which I’m decent at, but I have relied to heavily on skill and reaction speed far too much. It gets me in trouble in some moments, but saves me in others because I typically have the superior skill. But I don’t run a build in crucible, I just play because mods seem to be focused on PVE Vs PVP. Having the explanation of which mod and why will give me the edge I need to improve my encounter win/lose ratio. Thank you !

went flawless in trials for the first time with a similar solar warlock build. same aspects but my fragments were a little different. I uses Ember of Char, Ember of Mercy, Ember of Solace, and Ember of Ashes. I'll definitely have to try ember of torches out.

For strand I run the same but instead of ensnaring slam I run threaded specter it just seems to work better for really good for shutting down apes and some kinda nutty plays when trying to run and it kinda works as a shield a bit

If you dodge backwards they have to kill your shadow first, this is a huge lifesaver. Controlerplayer will also stick with their crosshair on the shadow. Pair it with bombardiers and you can kill apes so easy... you can get double or tripplekills

I’m surprised Arcstrider is here honestly, it was much better before 3.0 and other than receiving a fast-cooldown Super, it lost a lot to the 3.0 update without gaining much (in PvP) A lot of issues with the kit now, like how Flow State dodge damage resist isn’t helping you survive since it’s not active a lot of the time you’ll need it, how Lethal Current jolt kills override your Combination Blow melee meaning you never heal or get another dodge after melee fights, and how Lethal Current only affects one Staff swing now which badly nerfed Arc Staff’s damage compared to old top tree

Honestly if you wanna play a Titan, Peacekeepers + SMG + Sniper. Stats : 5 moblility, 8 resil, 10 recov. , You don't need 10 resil, cos for most meta weapons there is no difference in TTK between 8 and 10 resil.

What about double or triple of the same targeting, dexterity mods. Like 2 or 3 kinetic targeting mods or 3 kinetic dexterity mods

its fine if you don't have anything else you want. Only the targeting mods aim assist buff increases with more, starts at 5 for 1, 8 for 2 and 10 for 3. the accuracy cone and ADS multiplier buffs don't stack. its really only worth running one imo. Dex mods scale ready/stow animation speed by .8 for 1, .75 for 2 and .7 for 3.

You can’t. It’s default to grapple punch whatever key binds you have

Now it just feels like they lowered the skill ceiling on it because it’s impossible to seperate them right after a grapple. I wish they made it an option in settings not forcing everyone to play it like that. I was hoping someone somewhere maybe found a way of getting it back to normal

​​@@AxiomAxololtdungeons seem to be the best for highest tier armour for me, master version even more so since they are coded to have at least 2 spikes at 16 or above. I did it back when duality was giving the best but I think pit of heresy took over. Stick on a discipline or intellect ghost mod for hunter and titan and use recov ghost mod for warlock for best chances.
