The three consoles the bourque's with actually work well for a Canon build, you're mostly be relying on the Subspace snare to grab and hold your enemies

First off, recently found your channel (and have been generally loving your video topic picks.) Checking many boxes organically, as a Jelly pilot, and as someone trying to get my ground CMDR's "ship-shape" for elite tier content (where your general overview, then ENG video were quite valuable.) I enjoy your pace of speech and the placement of your "video frame" seems logical (lower left corner makes sense as in the UI this would be where the chat window would occur, which is of low relevance vs other screen areas.) Video "chapters" would be nice, as I am often want to having many tabs open, shuffling back / forward between "bits" (while cross-referencing STOWiki & Google Docs / Sheets tabs, to tabulate / organize myself most effectively.) Without judgement to other content creators, yourself and CasualSAB are now my primary references. Bravo, well done, and please keep up the high quality work! I personally found this video to be of lesser value (for myself at least). While clearly you have some expert insight and the review is valuable. What "brought down" the experience for me, was I had hoped to hear about more than *just* the one bundle (based on the video title.) Admittedly this one looks to be of good value proposition. For myself, after "coming back" from a decade hiatus, I personally found the New Genesis bundle to be invaluable. - good T6 ships (flexible foundation hulls for various play-styles) - good trait (from the Grissom at least) - good console (Genesis Seed is super fun and good utility once you can aim / time it) - good ground kit (phasor pistol that scales as one levels), good for away team in addition to CMDR - all of the above on account unlock I suspect there are other "gem bundles" also, with approachable pricing (on sale.) Ah what a good idea to make a video on this .... if I don't say so myself 🤣. Great breakdown on the star ships traits & consoles. Perhaps something to add or as a "part 2" would be more detail on the ships themselves & how good the Ledge Inquiry / Avenger is as an EW platform & why, and that BortQ is also quite good performer if looking for a KDF ship with modern stats that isn't too expensive on account unlock. Which is part of why the bundle as a whole including the traits & console is such good value.

Great video. It reminds me that I have not pushed the Leg Bortas into service anywhere, or used its lvl 6 trait. I love the Leg Avenger and have clothed it like my original T6 from, what, 10 years or so ago ...

The Leg Avenger has been my most used ship for the past few months. I use it with the Inquiry Gamma skin on it with a BO build, highest DPS to date with this ship so far. The Bort is a beast, slow but a good ship. The priors world is good for the passives. I got this bundle on sale and am very glad I did. Made a huge difference to my playing of the game and my enjoyment levels went up. Nic, as always, another great video. Extremely informative, especially for new players, or those venturing into the world of the C Store. Good explanation of the traits on the ships. These videos can save players a lot of time and money. The Overlinked Phasers are great if you do a BO build with Pref Targeting as when you hit BO, you get CRF on these cannons for free. Like ETM with FAW & TS New webcam location looks ok, probably saves seeing folk walk in the door. May be a screen up in the future? Or green screen it :D

Yeah, this bundle probably offers the most value for new players with all its great ships, important traits and powerful consoles. Definitely a buy i don't regret (at a -35% sale!). The two legendary traits i use on every CSV build, as well as the Flagship consoles which go on almost every single one of my builds. The console 3 piece set from the Avenger is quite useful to have for new players. The two quad cannons are a nice bonus and the Targ of Gre'Thor pet is nice to have for ground combat.

You could mention for a new player like me. What to buy for T6 coupon that this pack has got? Something for trait like the Arbiter? Started playing a month ago. So literally got nothing.

The Trait from the Arbiter you get with the Leg Avenger. Depending on you play style, traits like Calm Before the Storm from one of the Cardassian ships is a good one.The Awahnne has a good console, trait and pets as well. If looking to do Torpedo builds, the Appalachia has a good trait and console. The Burhan is another good choice

@atman Right now Im building Lexington on FAW build. Already upgraded this ship to X2. This Legendary bundle is pretty expensive considering its only 2 ships and one T6 coupon. I was thinking about 13 anniversary first. Coz of 13 universal tech upgrades and good amount of ships for Admiralty too.

Just curious, but the Bortasqu's legendary trait looks fairly strong for CSV builds. How come we don't see it talked about/used more? Is it just a cat 1 buff, rather than a cat 2?

At that level it’s really a personal choice, gotta ask your self will I fly the ships or do I just want to collect

@@Nic_NB I do want the Lavenger to fly, for its design and as an upgrade to my Fleet Shepard; the Bort for the consoles I don't already have to go along with the Timeline Stabilizer and for my Klingon characters; and both ships for their traits.

Is there a bundle that can be bought that applies to all characters on an account, both new and existing? I started STO way back when it was in closed beta and my previously main character has a whole bunch more slots in his character and bank account But my new main does not I know you can get the elite starter packs, but that doesn't seem to be for all characters, only new starting ones.
