More likely to have an inverter like 3000w and a few extra batteries n solar than a generator these days. Could probably charge it with a dc charger or a 12v charger when the boats running aswell.

I appreciate the effort you guys are putting into this video. Good, maybe for first-time boat show attendees, but not very helpful for serious boat buyers. BTW, Parker boats are made in the USA. I have a friend who hauls them from the East Coast to the West Coast. I have a Regal 28 Express. Had both a Doral 270 SC and Regal 233 Express cruiser previously. Seems serious boat shoppers would be a bit more familiar with boats they are showing. So much info is available on the internet. I do agree with you that the Cutwater and Ranger Tug appear to be great boats. They were on my short list. It is uncanny how similar the Solara cruiser in this video is to the Cutwater. Just a bit more fancy. Have fun shopping!
@perfectfitboating5 ай бұрын
I have to disagree with you bob. We’ve received plenty of comments on our boat show videos saying our videos are extremely helpful when making a purchasing decision. Parker Poland is NOT made here in the US. They’re made in Poland. Youre thinking Parker that’s owned by Brunswick. The uncanny difference between the solara and the cut water is because it’s practically the same exact boat. Same hull built the same factory just with more extras on the solara. We mentioned this in the video. It also helps if the buyer is more educated on the market. Thanks for watching.

What’s your opinion on ‘boat show price’ vs. actual average paid price. How do these differ usually? Tips/thoughts about buying at show vs. dealer/broker?
@perfectfitboating7 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment Robert. Here’s my opinion. I personally won’t buy a new boat. I just think you can get a much better deal on a boat a few years old that is practically new and it might even have better options than a new one. There’s definitely better deals at boat shows than buying at a dealer or from a broker. Boat show discounts are sometimes 20% from listed prices. Here’s another bit of info I ran across from a former broker: brokers and dealers are being investigated by the federal government for keeping boat prices high in order to continue to make high commissions. If this is true, prices are going to drop an insane amount very soon. Hope that helps! 🤙

Some of these models that are trailerable would work very well in the southwest(powell, mead, etc) that are basically trailerable floating rv’s that have ac. Completely open boats has always been the norm but the reality is its so frickn hot that it’d be very nice to have a space that was climate controlled and you didn’t actually have to get off the lake. And its a bonus to tow it to the ocean for a trip.
@perfectfitboating7 ай бұрын
Absolutely! Especially the ranger tug with its 8.5 foot beam. Easily trailerable. Nothing beats that ac when it’s hot outside! 🤙
@TheCharlesChen4 ай бұрын
I believe the AC has to have water to cool, so the boat has to be in water for the AC to work.

After watching this and a lot of other similar videos featuring boats in this size, God bless the people who can afford these boats, but I realize I’d never spend that kind of money on a non essential item. My solution? I’m going to look around for the next couple of years for a lightly used FRESHWATER boat from the late ‘90’s or 2000’s and renovate it - repower, new electronics and other systems, new upholstery and canvas. You could do all of this for much cheaper than a quarter mil and have a boat personalized to your tastes. You’d still get a good warranty on a repower so you’d still have one of the benefits of buying new. Used boat prices have dropped precipitously after the Covid buyers realized how expensive boats were to maintain so I’ve seen a lot of good deals lately.
@perfectfitboating6 ай бұрын
I’m right there with you. I don’t think I would ever buy a new boat unless I had money to burn. But your approach is the same one I’d take. We bought our 85 Grady for $700 and have gone restoring her little by little. We have warranty on our new motor for 5 years and we enjoy her regularly at a fraction of the cost of a new one! 🤙

great video, suggestion be more consistent when you share pricing, some boats you give pricing at the start, some in the midle, some at the end and some NOT at all
@perfectfitboating7 ай бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion. Some of the boats don’t have the pricing on the outside of the boats and they have them on display cards in the boat. When we get on these boats we’re going over them for the first time like you see in the video. Just as they are. For example, the regal had the pricing on the display card in the boat. Some had them listed on the docks before you boarded. I think the only one we may have missed the price to was the cut water 28. We’ll do better 🤙

@brittseverence7221I don’t think these boats are made for heavy or regular ocean duty. Yes, I know some idiots think they can do it but that’s not the designed use of these boats. These are mainly day boats that provide infrequent sleeping and cooking ability. Anyone (normal) who buys and use these boats take sensible precautions to make sure they don’t go out in forecasted questionable conditions.

Ok, I get it it. You have a hot partner. But there is a glaring difference when he films and when she films. He spends most of the time filming her. She spends more time focused on the boat. So, is the purpose to showcase her or the boats?
@perfectfitboating7 ай бұрын
This is the first time I get behind the camera and film due to popular requests in all our videos. Damned if I do, damned if I don’t😂 Here’s my issue with your statement. You start of by mentioning my girls hot. Then you proceeds to criticize that I didn’t film enough of stuff and there’s a huge difference between us two. Well, that’s obvious because we don’t film or review boats the same. Now, even my girl will say she doesn’t know everything about boats. She’s learning. Just like I would say, I don’t know everything about filming. Yet you only criticize my filming. Youre own criticism smells of jealousy brother. It’s just a KZbin video, it’s not that serious. Take care! 🤙
@pilotpowell77 ай бұрын
@@perfectfitboating when you were filming, the thing that was being showcased I had to try and look around her to see it. Many of your shots cut off her head and focused on her body parts. So, my opinion would be try to focus the camera more on the parts being high lighted. She does a better job at that. Her chest seemed to be the focal point when you filmed.

Look, I like your videos. Both of you seem down to earth and are checking out boats the average person may be able to afford. You work well as a team and present the information in a very clear, concise manner. You are both a very attractive couple and work off each other. I personally see that each of you are working on a balance presentation and each of you are doing good whether behind or in front of the camera. Many of the video’s out in Utube get hung up on Freeman’s, Boston Whaler etc and usually on the plus 35ft mark which puts them out of reach of the audience you are appealing too. I don’t even watch the other videos anymore because they are not showing me the boats I can afford Keep focus on boats the average person may consider. Keep up with videos, you guys are doing great.

I wouldn't wana buy a boat from Turkey, they have too much slave trade on their hands of recent years and an attitude like they are mad they can't continue with that openly. At this point I just assume they used slaves to build them boats. Then seeing you calling out the build quality later, after making that assumption about them, again... I think I might be correct about them again. It's called experience.

@@perfectfitboating sorry for that, I don't like calling out others, but Turkey isn't western culture with our values of freedom. Everyone can see it in the quality of the products.
