For cockpit cam i’d recommend using an FOV calculator. It makes the objects in the game look more true to live and makes your depth perception better which allows you to judge where to break and turn more easily and naturally.

Everybody should Drive with cockpit cam imo, it's more realistic and once you get used it's more fun

Exactly! They should make using other camera angles an assist. It is effectively a vision and spatial awareness assist which gives advantages just like running abs or racing line.
