Speaking of Imran Khan he was definitely a good captain. Best captains I saw tactically were Alan Border and Arjun Ranatunga. They tuned good sides into WC champions with their tactics. When Border came Australia had lost many great players but he turned that inexperienced Australian side with many youngsters into a great team. The foundation of world dominant Australian side of the 2000's was laid by him. And Arjun Ranatunga as we all know turned minnows Sri Lanka into world champions. They modern tactics of attacking batting in the first 15 overs was introduced by him. The idea of part time spinners or more appropriately using spin bowling allrounders was extensively introduced by him. Sri Lanka went in was as many as 4 batsmen spin bowlers under him. They did not have good fast bowlers and usually medium pacers. But Ranatunga encouraged the spinners to bat and batsmen to bowl. Which is why he and Arvinda Desilva started bowling part time spin. Sanath Jayasurya entered the team as spin bowler but retired as one of the most fearsome batsman of his time. Imran Khan as I remember somebody said (I cannot remember the name was not that great tactically) but he was a champion motivator. He could get the player to give his best performance at the crunch situation. Which is why under him Pakistan turned around so many matches from challenging situations to victory. The WC 1992 itself being an example. Nearly eliminated Pakistan went on to win.

First time winning test series in India and England and drawing with mighty windies. He introduced the idea of neutral umpires. List goes on

Son! First go & learn about cricket history. Pakistan started winning again, (yes, again...as Pakistan was also a winning team in its early days under Kardar, first great captain of Pakistan!). Then, Pakistan started winning again under Mushtaq Muhammad. Players like Imran, Javed, sarfaraz, zaheer, Asif, Majid, Waseem Raja flourished under him & became world class. He is the only Pakistani captain who tied 2 series against Australia in Australia,& also won a series in NZ abroad.( Imran failed to win even a single test in Australia and NZ!) His win-loss ratio is also better than Imran (2 as compared to Imran's 1.75). But his captaincy period was over after just 19 tests due to rebellion by Imran & his co- conspirators. It was the first rebellion against any Pakistani captain thanks to Imran & gang! Imran got that winning team & winning mentality from Mushtaq Muhammad. 2) Secondly, Imran didn't introduce the idea of neutral umpires, the idea of neutral umpires was a brain child of great Abdul Hafeez Kardar, when he was the chairman of PCB & Asian Cricket Council, but this idea was not able to done practically until 1986 when Imran was the captain. Throughout his life, Imran shamelessly sold Kardar's idea under his own name that "I introduced neutral umpires in cricket", which is just a blatant lie! Btw, by introducing neutral umpires by Imran, you mean he introduced "Janwar" umpires? Bcoz he said only "Janwar" are neutrals!😋😜

He was responsible for two heartbreaking defeats both against in T20 WC 2007, and SF2011. Imagine if Pakistan would have won on both occasions, Pakistan would have been first champion of T20 and they would have certainly beaten SL in Bombay and lifted WC if this manhoos Mullah was not in Pakistan team. Both these defeats scarred Pakistan and gave India the momentum and confidence to dominate for 17 years. This manhoos Mullah was dumped by Pakistan selectors early after few matches, that was the right decision and right call. Misbah mullah is also responsible for bringing mullahism and tableeghis culture in team which sucked the soul out of Pakistan team. Our players used to be smart happy go lucky aggressive and tough , now they are turned into tableeghis mindset like this manhoos Mullah weak , submissive looking to sky Allah this and Allah that type, naturally they will be beaten everywhere and with anyone .Wrong choices cost Pakistan dearly. If Pakistan doesn't understand this ,they will keep losing and will become west Indies and will fail to quality for big tournaments.

I remember that six in Nehru Cup. It was held in India. And yes I do not remember 2 or 3 was required and Wasim hit 6. Richards as he said miscalculated as all his fast bowlers were bowled out. It was also eventful as Kris Srikanth was Indian captain and in the Indo-Pak clash at Eden Gardens India had made a spirited start to a pretty challenging total set up by Pak thanks to blistering knock by Salim Malik at the end. But Srikanth slipped and fell while taking a double and India after a very good start started losing wickets after that.

Imran clearly is the best cricketer to have played the game. Now this is huge statement and perhaps lots of people will disagree with me. He was one of the very few cricketers who co of find a spot in any team in world either as a batter or a bowler. On top of that he was a fantastic leader of men and cricket captain. Don’t think you’d find this quality in any of the cricket players ever.

IMRAN at the peak of his bowling even at retirement) had a bowling average and strike rate to envy the best bowlers. When his fast bowling declined due to age his batting average shot up above 50 which again would make a top order batsman envy. Additionally he was was the best captain at that time in the world. Managing Pakistani players wasn’t a joke (as you can see from the situation nowadays). All the three factors combined make him the best ever. Wasim Akram was clearly a better bowler but he didn’t have the above three. Viv is the best batsman ever but he clearly didn’t have the above three. Name one player (the closest that comes is Jacque Kallis) who had the above three qualities.
