You have to remember that the Japan and English meta’s for OP08 will be drastically different due to the banlist. Many of the leaders during the Japan OP08 meta could not compete with the top two and the prices reflected that. The English OP08 is unexplored. True pricing will not stabilize until after the 1st English results of OP08.
